Wiley X Alpine Tactical Glasses - Captivate Polarized Blue Mirror/Gloss Crystal Grey
Tactical glasses in Gloss Crystal Grey equipped with lenses made of Selenite polycarbonate in modern Captivate technology and a light and durable polymer frame. Rubber contact elements, nose pads, and temple tips improve stability and provide secure fit during movement. This model is ideal for outdoor activities in sunny weather and bright lighting conditions.
visors made from Selenite polycarbonate, Captivate technology
The lenses are 2.5mm thick and made of shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate, 100% protect your eyes from the sun's harmful rays (UVA, UVB). Manufactured with Captivate technology, the glasses equalize the visible light spectrum so that light reaches the eye more evenly. They maintain neutral colors while enhancing greens. They reduce glare and enhance contrast and color in outdoor environments and provide eye protection from harmful UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays , as well as blue light (HEV).
The lenses feature Oleophobic coating, which prevents dust, dirt, oil, snow and water from adhering, making the lenses much easier to clean than standard uncoated lenses. The T-Shell coating protects against scratches.
profiled frames, non-slip temple tips
Anatomically profiled frames, as well as the lenses of the glasses, are made in HVP technology (High Velocity Protection). This protects the eyes from injuries that can be caused by objects moving at high speed. The frames are made of durable polymer. Their curved shape (Active 8) ensures a good fit and does not limit comfort when wearing headphones or hearing protectors. Rubber, non-slip semi-hook type temple tips and nose pad keep the glasses securely on the face. The Venturi Suction technology prevents the glasses from fogging even during intense exertion.
protection standards
- ANSI Z87.1+ (High Mass Protection) - according to this standard, the frame and lenses must withstand the impact of an object weighing 0.5 kg falling from approximately 130 centimeters
- ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - according to this standard, the frame and visor must withstand the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 6.35 mm, moving at a speed of 164.6 km/h (45 m/s)
- MIL-PRF 32432A - according to this standard, the frame and visor must withstand the impact of fragments at a speed of a steel fragment moving at approximately 768–796 km/h (i.e., about 213–221 m/s without the lens breaking through and without detaching components that could injure the user.

Selenite visors are made of unbreakable polycarbonate, which provides high visual clarity and UV protection.
T-Shell is a coating on Wiley X glasses that resists scratches, protects lenses from damage and extends their life.
Captivate lens technology is an advanced filter system used in sunglasses that aims to improve the quality of vision by filtering out harmful light and improving color perception and contrast.
The Oleophobic coating repels dirt, oil, water and other substances, so the lenses stay cleaner and easier to maintain. The technology makes the lenses more durable and comfortable to wear.
MIL-PRF-32432 is an American military standard for glasses and goggles, including corrective glasses. According to this standard, a set of glasses should include spare lenses, a case, an instruction manual, a cleaning cloth and a strap, depending on the type of set. Goggles must also have a protective case in the set. Glasses and goggles must be compatible with a corrective insert. The standard specifies the goggles' ability to withstand impact from a .15-inch (3.8 mm) steel bullet weighing 0.376 grams at 200 m/s. In the case of goggles, the impact resistance of a .22-caliber bullet fired at a velocity of approximately 170 m/s.
According to this standard, the frame and visor of the glasses must withstand the impact of a steel BBs weighing 0.5 kg falling from a height of 127 centimeters.
According to this standard, the frame and visor of the glasses can withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel BBs traveling at 45 m/s (164.6 km/h).
