Wiley X Founder Polarized Glasses Visors - Captivate Polarized Blue Mirror
Polarised visors designed for Wiley X eyewear from the Founder line. Made from durable polycarbonate and coated with a scratch-resistant T-Shell Anti Scratch layer. An extra oleophobic coating prevents dust, dirt, oil, snow and water from sticking to the lens, also helping to reduce fogging. They guarantee high visual clarity and block blinding reflections, offering light transmission of 14 - 20%.

The visors are manufactured using HVP technology (High Velocity Protection). This protects the eyes from injuries caused by objects or their fragments moving at high speed, as per class F (impact resistance against 0.86 g objects travelling at 45 m/s).

Thanks to Captivate technology, the lenses balance the visible light spectrum so that light reaches the eyes more evenly. They preserve neutral colour tones while enhancing greens. They reduce glare, boost contrast and vividness outdoors, and protect eyes from harmful UVA and UVB radiation.

Captivate lens technology is an advanced filter system used in sunglasses that aims to improve the quality of vision by filtering out harmful light and improving color perception and contrast.
Z87.1 standard developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the durability of eye protectors. The standard includes two types of tests (3 tests) for the impact resistance of the lens and the stability of its seating in the frame: resistance to High Mass and High Velocity objects.
According to this standard, the frame and visor of the glasses can withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel BBs traveling at 45 m/s (164.6 km/h).
