Fantastic lenses, they polarize perfectly and enhance contrast, warming up colors so the world looks prettier :) The build quality is perfect. The only drawback is the shape – they are quite wide especially at the bottom, so they will not fit a narrow face. Nevertheless, I recommend looking for other shapes with these lenses because I've never had better ones.
Wiley X Omega Glasses - Captivate Polarized Grey Tactical/Matte Black
Black tactical eyewear, crafted for comfort, lightweight wear, and a secure fit. The high mechanical strength of the lenses ensures eye protection from flying debris, ricochets, and other projectiles. Compliance with class F standards guarantees defense against objects weighing 0.86 g moving at 45 m/s.
Wiley X stands among the top providers of eye protection gear for the United States military, athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Triloid frame material
Constructed from Triloid nylon contoured frames, the eyewear and lenses comply with ballistic safety standards ANSI Z87.1+ and EN166 F. Offering reliable protection, they shield the eyes from harmful ultraviolet rays, including UVA, UVB, and blue light (HEV). The ergonomic frame design provides a secure fit without sacrificing comfort when wearing headphones or ear defenders. Reinforced with sturdy spring hinges, these glasses deliver increased flexibility of the temples and improved overall comfort.
Polycarbonate lenses with t-shell coating and Captivate technology
Equipped with green lenses crafted from virtually indestructible Selenite polycarbonate, this model offers 15% light transmission and incorporates a CAPTIVATE polarization filter layered within the lens structure. Under bright sunlight, the lens aligns light on a single plane, blocks harsh glare, boosts clarity, and sharpens depth perception. Overcast or rainy days benefit from increased contrast, greatly enhancing visual sharpness, ensuring superior image clarity, and providing uncompromised visual comfort. Ideally suited for drivers, skiers, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts. An anti-reflective coating effectively neutralizes distracting light reflections, eliminating bounce-back rays that may cause distortion or discomfort, resulting in a noticeably clearer view than standard Captivate lenses deliver. Added T-Shell Scratch technology protects the lenses from abrasion, while the oleophobic layer repels dust, dirt, oil, snow, and water from sticking to the lens surface.
Standards and certifications
- ANSI Z87.1+ certification: Under this standard, both the frame and visor are designed to resist impacts from a steel ball measuring 6.35 mm in diameter, traveling at a velocity of 164.6 km/h.
- EN.166F certification: Compliant with the European regulations for enhanced protection against medium energy impacts from fast-moving particles. The frame and visors are engineered to withstand strikes from a steel ball, 6 mm in diameter and weighing 0.86 g, propelled at a speed of 162 km/h.

Excellent lenses. I don't know about durability, but the image is very clear and pleasant for the eyes. I have older glasses from this company and the lenses improved the quality. The frames wrap around the head well, which limits the sun from getting in. They fit better on a "square" head. They won't be good for a very small one. Rather for a medium one. For a narrower head, the Gravity model is better.
