Fantastic lenses, they polarize perfectly and enhance contrast, warming up colors so the world looks prettier :) The build quality is perfect. The only drawback is the shape – they are quite wide especially at the bottom, so they will not fit a narrow face. Nevertheless, I recommend looking for other shapes with these lenses because I've never had better ones.
Wiley X Omega Tactical Glasses - Captivate Polarized Bronze Mirror/Matte Black
Black tactical glasses offering a comfortable, lightweight, and secure fit. The lenses provide outstanding mechanical durability, shielding the eyes from fragments, ricochets, and other projectiles. Compliant with class F standards, they deliver protection against objects weighing 0.86 g traveling at velocities up to 45 m/s.
Wiley X stands among the top manufacturers of eye protection gear for the United States military, athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Triloid frame material
Triloid nylon contoured frames along with the lenses adhere to ANSI Z87.1+ and EN166 F ballistic protection standards. They shield the eyes from hazardous ultraviolet rays, offering full protection against UVA, UVB, and blue light (HEV). The ergonomic design of the frames guarantees a secure fit without compromising comfort when wearing headphones or hearing protection. Furthermore, robust spring hinges deliver increased flexibility at the temples and superior comfort.
Polycarbonate lenses with t-shell coating and Captivate technology
Equipped with green lenses crafted from unbreakable Selenite polycarbonate, the model offers 15% light transmission and incorporates a CAPTIVATE polarization filter layered within the lenses. On sunny days, the filter aligns light on a single plane, reduces intense glare from sunlight, boosts brightness, and sharpens depth perception. Under overcast or rainy conditions, enhanced contrast brings out objects more clearly, dramatically increasing visual definition and ensuring optimal visual comfort. Ideal for drivers, skiers, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts, these glasses come with an anti-reflective coating that eradicates bothersome reflections, blocking rays from reflecting back into the eyes and preventing distortion and discomfort. As a result, visuals appear clearer compared to standard Captivate lenses. A T-Shell Scratch coating safeguards the lenses against scratches, while an oleophobic layer keeps dust, dirt, oil, snow, and water from sticking to the lens surface.
Standards and certifications
- ANSI Z87.1+ standard: Developed to ensure durability, the frame and visor are capable of withstanding the impact of a steel ball with a 6.35 mm diameter traveling at 164.6 km/h.
- EN.166F standard: Compliant with European requirements for medium energy impact protection, the frame and visors endure the strike of a steel ball measuring 6 mm in diameter and weighing 0.86 g at a velocity of 162 km/h.

The HEV (High Energy Visible) filter provides protection from harmful blue light emitted by computer screens, smartphones and sunlight. The HEV filter in the glasses increases overall visual comfort and protects eye health.
T-Shell is a coating on Wiley X glasses that resists scratches, protects lenses from damage and extends their life.
Frames made of Triloid nylon provide lightweight and highly comfortable glasses. Triloid features optimal hardness and is highly resistant to impacts and falls.
Captivate lens technology is an advanced filter system used in sunglasses that aims to improve the quality of vision by filtering out harmful light and improving color perception and contrast.
The Oleophobic coating repels dirt, oil, water and other substances, so the lenses stay cleaner and easier to maintain. The technology makes the lenses more durable and comfortable to wear.
EN166F is the European standard for protection against the impact of accelerated objects (Medium Energy Impact). Class F mechanical strength means that, according to the standard, the frame and visors of the glasses will withstand the impact of a steel BBs with a diameter of 6 mm and a weight of 0.86 g, traveling at 45 m/s (162 km/h).

Excellent lenses. I don't know about durability, but the image is very clear and pleasant for the eyes. I have older glasses from this company and the lenses improved the quality. The frames wrap around the head well, which limits the sun from getting in. They fit better on a "square" head. They won't be good for a very small one. Rather for a medium one. For a narrower head, the Gravity model is better.
