Wisport with the Key-Bak Large retractor is much more than a typical keychain – it is a very solid solution that provides easy access to the most important accessories such as keys, multitool, tactical scissors, IDs or a flashlight. The Large size is perfect for those who do not trust standard, less durable keychains. The original American Key-Bak spring mechanism used here ensures long life – it can withstand over 100,000 pulls. The mechanism works smoothly and without jamming, and items instantly return to their place. Instead of a delicate nylon cord, the Large version has an extremely durable Kevlar or steel cable in a vinyl coating, which handles heavy loads very well and does not wear out when in contact with metal parts. Durability is very high here – the Large model easily holds even large bunches of keys (from 200 to 400 grams, depending on the version). Everything stays securely attached to the belt and does not bounce around during movement. The Wisport carabiner allows for quick attachment of the retractor to a belt loop, MOLLE gear, vest or belt. I have been using it for several years, I have a second piece for myself. The cord on the first one broke, although it is indeed made of steel. But since it was still under warranty, I got a replacement without any problem. I have had the second one for several years now and everything is fine. I bought this one as a gift for a friend.

I recommend it, the carabiner is small and doesn’t take up much space in a waist bag or backpack. The steel cable is strong and the length is appropriate. I recommend shopping at militaria.pl, great quality.

The retrator itself is great, I have several of them with my gear and EDC. However, this large carabiner isn't well thought out—firstly, it doesn't fit the strap very well, and secondly, the closure wires are not stable enough. I recommend the version with a smaller carabiner; it may be less versatile, but it's much sturdier.
