Wisport Toke Waist Bag - MAPA

Constructed from cordura, compact, rugged, and dependable waist pack designed to carry essential gear without occupying space in your pants pockets, bag, or backpack. Ideal for organizing EDC (Every Day Carry) items.

2 compartments, zip closures

Outfitted with 2 compartments for optimal organization:

  • A main compartment secured with a two-way zipper,
  • and a front compartment featuring a zipper closure.

Inside the main compartment, positioned against the hip, lies a flat open pocket, perfect as a divider—ideal for stowing a wallet, for example.

Paracord pull tabs are attached to each zipper end, minimizing noise caused by zipper ends striking together and doubling as emergency straps. The zip of the main compartment is shielded by a protective strip to block debris build-up, while the zip on the front compartment is also guarded by a strip at both the top and bottom.

system MOLLE, velcro panel

A strap utilizing the MOLLE system is attached beside the front pocket on both sides, providing the option to secure extra gear on the outside.

A substantial portion of the front panel of the waist bag features a velcro panel (hook and loop), offering space for a morale patch to personalize the waist bag according to the owner's unique style.

Adjustable carrying strap with buckle

Designed for versatility, the waist bag can be carried on the waist or slung across the chest. Equipped with a 60 mm quick-release fastex buckle, the strap is also adjustable in length up to 110 cm.

Main features

  • Constructed from Cordura material
  • Equipped with two compartments
  • Secured by zipper closures
  • Zipper pulls feature integrated paracord loops
  • Fitted with an adjustable strap featuring a fastex buckle
  • Strap measures 49 mm in width
  • Designed for waist or cross-chest carry

Camouflage MAPA

The MAPA camouflage pattern was developed by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and current academic at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, who authored publications such as "Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage" (Gdańsk 2015). Backed by robust theoretical and experimental research, including computer-based analysis of thousands of terrain photographs, this innovative pattern quickly drew interest from industry experts and military apparel producers. In 2017, the MAPA camouflage was unveiled at the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce as part of the Dromader gear and uniform system by Maskpol, a member of the Polish Armaments Group. Originally created for the Territorial Defence Forces, the MAPA pattern was also evaluated as a potential standard issue for the entire Polish Armed Forces, where it could have succeeded the wz.93 camouflage. To date, however, the MAPA camouflage has not been officially adopted as the standard camouflage pattern of the Polish Army.

The main features of MAPA camouflage in the basic forest variant

  • 6 colors arranged in layers that resemble topographical map contours
  • Color palette specifically adjusted for operations within Central European forests
  • Integration of three-dimensional illusions and anamorphic effects
  • Biomorphic forms that mirror the natural shapes of vegetation
  • Highly contrasting motifs to simulate flashes of light and deep shadows
  • Distortion of the concealed silhouette using a macro-level pattern
  • Color noise achieved through a micro-pattern structure

The MAPA camouflage stands out as a compelling alternative to leading modern camo patterns like PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn, or Finnish M/05. In certain aspects, MAPA surpasses these options and offers more accurate replication of the color spectrum found in Central European forests from late spring through early autumn.

Nice waist bag, strong, solidly made, sleek and compact, so it doesn't draw attention, easy to hide under a T-shirt or shirt. Easily enough for wallet and phone or other small gadgets. The color is supposed to be graphite but actually is a strongly gray-steel tone. Because of its compact size, when stuffed with a thicker wallet and smartphone, it sticks out from the body due to the parallel arrangement, which can be uncomfortable while walking. A plus for the wide and sturdy velcro panel for your favorite patches. The bag is rather designed for city, school or work, just for essentials like wallet, keys, phone. Not suitable for tourist or bushcraft trips as an EDC must-have. For me, a small minus is the lack of a classic Wisport mesh inner pocket with a zipper, which other bags from this company have. A plus for the wide carrying strap and big, solid buckle. Overall, though a bit expensive for the size, I still recommend it :)

Wide strap and big buckle, not practical—the clasp sits exactly on your back. It's not a comfortable waist bag. Material and workmanship are great, but the design is weak. I have two Wisport backpacks and they are amazing, but I chose the waist bag from Helikon.

A very well-made waist bag. I've been using it for some time and I am very satisfied with the purchase. The waist bag is very durable and nothing has happened to it. The MAPA camouflage looks much better in real life than in the photos. I recommend it.

Great waist bag, small and doesn't stick out from under a sweatshirt or shirt. Excellent wide strap, and it looks tough. Simple and functional. The zippers are a bit stiff but that's probably just a matter of time.

The waist bag is spacious enough to fit all the essentials, yet light enough that it doesn’t weigh me down during hikes. The comfortable strap allows for quick adjustment. Additionally, it has great pocket organization, so everything is within easy reach. It’s an excellent product!

This is my first kidney bag from this manufacturer, until now I had several kidney bags from Pacsafe. Solid workmanship, handy, very capacious for its size. Leatherman wave plus, Olight Baton 3 Pro Max, pepper spray, Baribal card case, home and car keys can all fit inside, so quite a lot of things for such a small size.

Well-made waist bag. The material is thick and durable. The zippers are good quality and it's quite spacious. A great option for a high-end waist bag. I recommend trying it out.

"Waist bag" is of very good quality. It has an extra pocket inside where I keep my documents. The zippers work fine, the buckle is made of good plastic. I recommend it.

Cool little waist bag, ideal for the city. Quite roomy for such a small thing. It hides well under a sweatshirt or a shirt. Doesn't bother you in the car when fastening your seat belt. I have a few waist bags at home, but this is my number 1 EDC.

I expected a slightly larger size—it's a very small bag, the zippers aren't the same as in the photo, and the strap with the buckle is very bulky. You can buy it, but only if the price was lower!

High quality as expected from Wisport. The kidney bag is small but even a large phone and the most important small items can fit. The wide strap is a plus. Once you adjust the bag, it doesn't shift while walking ;)

Cool waist bag. Perfect for the city, fits a wallet, phone, keys, and headphones – basically EDC. The zippers work a bit less smoothly than on the GEKON, but it's manageable ;) Highly recommended!

Very small, I have a similar one from Helikon with almost identical dimensions, but here the measurements seem to be taken to the extreme, unusable edges as it's half the size. It would be worth specifying the capacity in liters in the description. Ultra-long strap, needs shortening.

Very practical for cycling, for phone, keys, wallet. Recommended.

My favorite everyday waist bag, because the first one I had was the same—I still can't find it to this day. It's not too big, just right for me – fits the essentials: documents, phone, apartment keys.
