After one use: inside a shelter, stove protected from the wind, around -8°C, something like that. Two tablets were not able to boil 300 ml of water in a cup with a lid. For summer: okay, there’s a chance it could work, and combined with a metal plate as a fire base it makes the lightest possible set. However, performance in conditions other than ideal is pretty much laughable. I barely managed to hydrate my freeze-dried meal with lukewarm water, but what choice did I have?

Great solution, I much prefer the packaging compared to those plastic-and-foil packs where the fuel is packed like throat lozenges. Yes, it takes up more space, but there's much less risk of damaging the fuel. It burns well, the price is not excessive, and I consider it an essential part of the kit when paired with a stove, especially for winter trips. Highly recommended.

Good price, burns nicely, but for me the best advantage is its handiness. The tablets in the tube take up very little space, so it's easy to fit the tube into your gear even if your backpack is packed. I used it with a folding camping stove and it burned well.

I've used this fuel before and once tried a different, cheaper one, but it wasn't worth it so I'm coming back to what works. The burning time is as described, and it's easier to light than the competitor's one in the red tube.

A must-have for a camping stove. Easily sufficient for making tea or coffee outdoors. The tube protects the tablets from moisture and makes it comfortable to keep them in your backpack. I have a few tubes at home in case I need to manage without electricity.
