Someone recommended it somewhere on YouTube, but I wasn't convinced. Only after I got my hands on it during training as part of wGotowości did I decide that I should have one myself. Long enough rod that doesn't make you struggle with the striker to get sparks, while not destroying what you've scraped off the bark. One of the best on the market, really worth it.

Well made and has a practical size – not too big, not too small, just perfect. Thanks to the orange color, it can be spotted quickly, even if it gets lost in the woods.

The Za-Pas firestarter is a solid rod that produces a substantial amount of sparks with every strike. The handle is sturdy and fits well in the hand, allowing for a secure grip even with gloves. The materials are very durable, so the device will last for hundreds of uses. A simple, tough construction without unnecessary extras that just works in any condition. A reliable Polish product.

It's not cheap, but it's worth it. Strong sparks, it lights wet birch bark immediately. The scraper is slightly angled at the end, a small thing but helpful when striking and holding the firestarter.

The fire starter is small, lightweight, and works well as part of camping gear or an emergency backpack. It produces strong sparks, and thanks to its compact size, it can be conveniently carried with you. The order arrived quickly and everything was as described.

Great fire starter. A friend recommended the purchase. Tested in the field. Very well made. The spark generator does the job. Very solid fire starter. The price is adequate for the quality. I recommend it.
-
Solid workmanship at the highest level and very easy to use. Definitely recommendable, works as described - I agree with previous, very positive opinions.

My first fire starter and without any practice I lit birch bark and fatwood shavings without any problem. I have no comparisons, but I can wholeheartedly recommend the Mig mag fire starter.

After just the first use, I was convinced of how reliable this fire starter is. The length of the rod and its appropriate diameter make it possible to generate many intense sparks, which easily ignite even damp kindling. The sparks reach very high temperatures, which means that even in tough weather conditions, lighting a fire is not a problem – important when camping after rain or in the wind.
-
In my opinion, there is currently no better fire starter on the market. I could end my comment here, but it is simply worth its price. With good kindling, it sparks instantly and the amount of sparks is simply amazing.

The name 'Za-pas' speaks for itself, but I wasn't sure if the effectiveness matches the brand. Honestly, I'm positively surprised. It fits very well in the hand, the dimensions allow easy use without any hassle, unlike smaller models. It produces a solid handful of sparks with one strike.

In my opinion, there is currently no better fire starter on the market. I could end my comment here, but it is simply worth its price. With good tinder, it sparks on the first try—the amount of sparks is simply astonishing.

Tempted by recommendations on the internet and YouTube, I bought it not being fully convinced by the term 'the best fire starter.' But after purchasing and testing it 'dry,' the fire starter actually produces a large shower of sparks. As soon as I have time, it will be tested in the field while lighting a campfire. An additional advantage is that it’s a product from a Polish company. The fire starter is now part of my essential 'fire kit' in my backpack :)

This fire starter is highly regarded in the forest community. However, when you strike it properly, personally, I don't see any difference compared to, for example, the LMF. Nevertheless, it is a solid rod. You can see what you're paying for. I don't regret the purchase.

Half a year of continuous use and it has never let me down. The sparks fly nicely, and even a beginner will find it easy to start a fire with it. The length of the paracord is... good if you're not a picky reserve commando. I recommend it!
