Mega fire starter. It does its job. The thick rod of the fire starter will last for many trips. Lighting a fire with this fire starter is now a breeze. I specifically chose a light color. I went with orange. In case you lose it in the forest, it will always be easier to find.
Za-Pas Mig-Mag Flint - Black
Flint generating an intense cascade of sparks, ensuring reliable fire starting in a variety of conditions. Essential for camping, outdoor adventures, or survival situations, this tool enables you to easily ignite a fire. Whether lighting a gas stove, a portable burner, or a campfire, a steady heat source is always within reach, making meal preparation possible even far from home.
Durable rod and stainless steel spark gap
A rod with dimensions of 9.5 x 72 mm enables you to generate flint sparks over a much broader surface (compared to more compact variants), making it possible to ignite a fire up to 3,000 times. Constructed from premium stainless steel and hardened to a toughness of 56-58 HRC, the spark rod is equipped with two curled edges designed for effective flaring. Only two strokes are needed to create sparks reaching temperatures of 3,000 degrees Celsius, which, when directed onto a properly prepared fire starter, can ignite a flame even under extreme cold or intense rainfall.
Compact size and safety cable
Compact dimensions allow the flint to be conveniently carried in a pants pocket or backpack. The kit comes equipped with a durable safety cord, ensuring the components remain secure and protected from loss.

The fire starter is very nice. It generates a lot of sparks, which is more than enough to ignite the material. This is already my second fire starter, so I am very satisfied. I recommend it!
-
Expensive, but made in Poland and...an amazing fire starter. Probably the best I've had, even kids use it willingly and quickly. And finally a striker that doesn't need to be replaced with a knife, fantastic. Also, it was made by a Pole for Poles, which is extremely important these days. I recommend it.

I have started fires with many firesteels, but this firesteel is simply first-class, a big solid rod, and above all, this striker—I don't know what they did, but it's amazingly made, and they deserve great applause. With this firesteel, you can be sure to light a fire even if you're a beginner. I recommend it to everyone, it's definitely worth it.

People say it's the best fire starter on the market - and I believe them. Thick, solid rod of the right length and above all: a great scraper. I don't understand why most manufacturers neglect this issue and don't make such a scraper - this one is brilliant.
-
Someone recommended it somewhere on YouTube, but I wasn't convinced. Only after I got my hands on it during training as part of wGotowości did I decide that I should have one myself. Long enough rod that doesn't make you struggle with the striker to get sparks, while not destroying what you've scraped off the bark. One of the best on the market, really worth it.

A very good fire starter that accompanies me both during survival and SERE-B training, as well as on family trips with the kids. It's compact, well-made, and easily produces strong sparks, allowing you to start a fire quickly. I appreciate its reliability and the fact that it takes up very little space in my gear. After several trips, I can say that this is trustworthy equipment. I recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and effective fire starter for the outdoors.

Well made and has a practical size – not too big, not too small, just perfect. Thanks to the orange color, it can be spotted quickly, even if it gets lost in the woods.

The Za-Pas firestarter is a solid rod that produces a substantial amount of sparks with every strike. The handle is sturdy and fits well in the hand, allowing for a secure grip even with gloves. The materials are very durable, so the device will last for hundreds of uses. A simple, tough construction without unnecessary extras that just works in any condition. A reliable Polish product.

It's not cheap, but it's worth it. Strong sparks, it lights wet birch bark immediately. The scraper is slightly angled at the end, a small thing but helpful when striking and holding the firestarter.

The fire starter is small, lightweight, and works well as part of camping gear or an emergency backpack. It produces strong sparks, and thanks to its compact size, it can be conveniently carried with you. The order arrived quickly and everything was as described.
-
Great fire starter. A friend recommended the purchase. Tested in the field. Very well made. The spark generator does the job. Very solid fire starter. The price is adequate for the quality. I recommend it.
-
Solid workmanship at the highest level and very easy to use. Definitely recommendable, works as described - I agree with previous, very positive opinions.
-
My first fire starter and without any practice I lit birch bark and fatwood shavings without any problem. I have no comparisons, but I can wholeheartedly recommend the Mig mag fire starter.

After just the first use, I was convinced of how reliable this fire starter is. The length of the rod and its appropriate diameter make it possible to generate many intense sparks, which easily ignite even damp kindling. The sparks reach very high temperatures, which means that even in tough weather conditions, lighting a fire is not a problem – important when camping after rain or in the wind.
