The PCP carbines presented in this category are characterized by very good performance and accuracy unparalleled in spring-loaded windcheaters. PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) is an advanced technology used in the strongest and most accurate windcheaters. The shot is fired using compressed air contained in a built-in pressure tank. Unlike spring-loaded airguns, there is no recoil caused by the movement of a spring-driven piston when a PCP airgun is fired.
PCP air rifles are products that are simple to use and yet advanced in operation. The way a PCP air rifle works consists of three main steps. In the first step, the reloading lever is pulled back, putting tension on the trigger's shock mechanism. In the next step, the reloading lever is retracted and the shot is inserted into the barrel. Sealing of the system takes place, resulting in the ability to fire a shot. The final step is to depress the trigger, thereby releasing the shock mechanism.
PCP carbine rifles, especially wind guns with scopes, are best suited for shooting at considerable distances. For example, sporting targets or spinners can be used as targets. For safety reasons, it is also best to use a magnetic pellet gun, which will eliminate the danger from a possible ricochet. Special shotgun shells are dedicated to PCP air rifles, allowing precise shots at long distances. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that charging PCP windcheaters is possible only with special devices, such as a PCP pump.
