Great EDC knife. A legend. The price is high for a small knife, but after all, it's Benchmade. I recommend the shop. The shop is always great. Fast shipping. Lifetime warranty.
Benchmade Bugout CPM-S30V Folding Knife - Black CF-Elite
A lightweight and durable EDC folding knife designed for everyday use both during household tasks and outdoor activities. The thoughtful design combines compact size with durability, allowing for comfortable and efficient completion of various tasks - from simple utility work to more demanding field activities.
high-quality CPM-S30V stainless steel
The blade is made of high-quality CPM-S30V stainless steel. It features a precisely selected formula containing carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium. The carbon content is about 1.45%, which ensures high hardness and long-lasting sharp edge retention.
Chromium provides excellent corrosion resistance, making S30V steel suitable for various, even challenging environments. Additions of molybdenum and vanadium enhance the raw material's wear resistance and improve its strength.
drop-point blade profile
The Drop-Point blade provides excellent cutting control. This type of geometry is suitable for both precise tasks and work requiring greater pressure. The blade has been coated with a hard, scratch-resistant DLC coating. This coating enhances corrosion resistance and reduces unwanted glare in certain situations.
Handle - ergonomics and secure grip
The handle is based on a solid steel framework, which ensures the durability of the entire construction and stability during intensive use. The framework is attached to CF-Elite scales, which are characterized by low weight and high resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric conditions.
The rough texture of the scales significantly improves grip confidence, even in humid environments or when working with gloves. The ergonomic handle profile fits the hand well, reducing fatigue even during extended use.
Axis Lock, thumb stud
The blade is deployed using a double-sided thumb stud, allowing quick and convenient one-handed opening. The knife features a locking mechanism Axis Lock, valued for its durability and user safety. The lock effectively secures the blade against accidental closure during work, while also preventing uncontrolled opening during transport.
The mechanism's design is fully symmetrical, allowing easy operation for both right- and left-handed individuals. Axis Lock also permits smooth knife operation with one hand.
clip and lanyard hole
The convenience of daily carry is ensured by a springy mini deep-carry clip, which allows for discreet knife transport in the pocket. Due to its design, the knife remains almost invisible.
The clip can be repositioned and mounted in a tip-up configuration on both sides of the handle, allowing the carrying method to be adapted to the user's preference, both right- and left-handed. At the end of the handle, there is a large hole for a safety line or keychain.

Great knife, I enjoyed it for 3 years and unfortunately the springs broke. You don't feel it in your pocket, but now it sits in a drawer. I don't recommend it for long-term use.
-
Plastic is not all the same, these are definitely the best plastic handles you can get on a Bugout, indeed stiffer and less flexible than the standard ones. The Bugout itself is great as always, and this all-black version looks awesome.
-
One of the best-made "Bogusi" I have ever had in my hands. Compared to the classic ones with plastic handles, this one really feels premium; the stiffness of the handles makes the knife feel different from a standard Bugout. I recommend it to every Bugout fan.
-
In person, it is smaller than in the photos – the model is very compact, which makes it phenomenally easy to carry and use. I prefer the variants that don't have a composite handle, however, every one of them is worth recommending.
-
Great knife. Other Bugouts with plastic handles seem too delicate. This one is made of aluminum and is fine. The ideal EDC knife, lightweight, unobtrusive, with a small and barely visible clip. You don't feel it in your pocket.
-
The knife is very light. Despite its small size, it has a good, secure grip. It does not slip in gloves. The handle color is lighter than in the photos. Perfect for everyday carry. I definitely recommend it.
-
If you care about a small and lightweight knife for everyday carry, it's hard to find a better choice. A great little one, and in this color version it looks fantastic. The white scale sometimes gets dirty and requires a bit more frequent cleaning, which you should keep in mind when choosing.
-
Great knife, brilliant steel. The deep carry clip is definitely a plus. You hardly feel it in your pocket. I highly recommend it, another successful purchase.

The knife comes nicely packaged and very sharp. The handle is more durable than it seems and the blade stays sharp for a long time. The price is high and probably a bit exaggerated. The knife is perfect for EDC. It is very lightweight and unnoticeable in the pocket. The lock works well. It's worth keeping it in the included case. After a walk on the beach, I spent a long time getting the sand out of the mechanism, and I didn't have a small enough tool to take it apart.
-
Incredibly lightweight and handy knife. The mechanics and operation are very smooth. Good steel and top-notch craftsmanship. Great for everyday carry. I recommend it.
-
Great design in the premium version, made from better materials. Excellent steel, very nice milled aluminum handle scales. This version both looks and works great! I recommend it.
-
A classic example of minimalist EDC. The handle is improved compared to the previous one with Grivory and the blade is made from one of the first powder super steels. Light as a feather. I recommend it to those who are undecided.
-
A great little knife for everyday carry. Excellently made. The steel used in the blade is extremely good quality. I highly recommend everyone to buy one, because it is definitely worth it.
