The knife makes a good impression right from the start, it is lightweight for its size, factory-sharpened enough to shave, has a beautiful satin blade and a handle that is pleasant to the touch. There is nothing to complain about.
Bestech Knives BG62A Swordfish Folding Knife - Black/White
A reliable EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife featuring a spear-point blade profile, crafted from durable, corrosion-resistant 14C28N stainless steel and hardened to 58-60 HRC. The blade is PVD-coated and finished with a flat grind for enhanced performance.
Spear-Point blade, 14C28N stainless steel, jimping
Outfitted with a Spear-Point blade profile, the knife is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, renowned for its elevated hardness and robust resistance to corrosion. Featuring a flat grind, the blade's surface is finished with a protective layer of black PVD coating, which significantly enhances its durability against corrosion, scratches, and fading. Along the spine of the blade, jimping (precision notching) is present to offer improved thumb grip and increased blade control during cutting tasks.
flipper, Button Lock
Effortless deployment of the knife is achieved through the use of a flipper, which, once the knife is open, functions as a mini bolster to shield your hand from slipping onto the blade during tasks. With the integration of ceramic ball bearings, blade deployment remains exceptionally smooth and seamless. Outfitted with a Button Lock, the knife automatically secures itself upon opening, ensuring accidental closure does not occur during use. To disengage the lock, simply press the button situated at the front section of the handle scales.
g10 laminate, resilient clip
Rugged G10 laminate handle scales feature an ergonomic design for enhanced grip and comfort. Outfitted with a spring clip in the tip-up orientation, the knife offers convenient carry options, whether attached to a belt or the edge of a pocket. A dedicated hole for attaching a safety cable or key ring is located at the end of the handle.

A large knife with a very pleasant lock. The color combination is surprisingly fitting and fashionable with current trends. You get a lot of knife for the money. I recommend it.

The purple looks nice with the rest of the knife in black. The button lock is very simple and pleasant to use. The mechanism is smooth, the sharpness is satisfactory. I recommend it.

Bestech Swordfish is quite a large knife. When unfolded, it is bigger than the Mora Companion, which makes it very comfortable to use. The 10 cm long and 3.5 mm thick blade can handle any task (I don't use folders for batoning). The steel, heat treatment, and grind are optimally useful in my opinion. If you don't like carrying a knife on your belt, I recommend it.
