Bestech Knives QUQU G10 Folding Knife - Black

Practical folding knife created by the eight-year-old Gogo, daughter of one of the co-owners of Bestech Knives. The design draws inspiration from a cricket. Development was enhanced through cooperation with acclaimed knife designer Ostap Hel, who is recognized for minimalist, contemporary aesthetics and outstanding functionality in his work.

An unconventional partnership has produced a compact folding knife, featuring a lightweight build and an eye-catching style, blending youthful imagination with expert attention to ergonomics and everyday usability.

14C28N stainless steel and satin finishing

Forged from 14C28N stainless steel, the blade is crafted from a material engineered by the Swedish manufacturer Sandvik. The chemical composition of this steel has been precisely adjusted to deliver exceptional hardness. Optimized nitrogen content ensures lasting corrosion resistance while enhancing the edge’s durability. The presence of carbon contributes to excellent cutting performance, while added chromium offers outstanding protection against rust and oxidation. Featuring a satin polish, the blade’s surface boasts a refined finish.

blade with a spear-point profile, smooth cutting edge

Equipped with a blade featuring a Spear-Point profile, the model is distinguished by a balanced, symmetrical design and an acute tip, ideal for precision cutting and piercing applications. The blade length is 56 mm and includes a smooth cutting edge, making it well-suited for daily use as well as light outdoor tasks. Manufactured with a flat grind, the blade delivers excellent cutting performance, minimizes cutting resistance, and simplifies future sharpening.

A fuller in the form of a longitudinal groove runs along the blade surface, enhancing both the dynamic look of the blade and its balance, which in turn improves control during use.

handy handle, spring clip

A practical handle featuring a non-slip surface is crafted from G10 laminate, a durable blend of fiberglass and epoxy resin. A flexible steel clip ensures comfortable daily carry and can be repositioned to the opposite side of the handle for added convenience.

button lock, ball bearing

A button activates the release of the Button Lock system, allowing for swift deployment of the blade with a quick flick of the wrist. Enhanced opening speed is achieved via a ceramic ball bearing integrated into the knife’s main pivot.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
Button Lock feature
Button Lock
Button Lock (also known as Plunge Lock) is a locking mechanism in folding knives based on a spring button. When fully opened, the tang enters a notch at the base of the blade and locks it in the working position; when closed, the same element acts as a detent. The design allows for smooth opening and closing with one hand and increases safety, as it does not require the user to place their fingers on the blade line. Thanks to its simplicity and reliability, the Button Lock is often used in EDC knives and collector's models.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
