Bestech Knives QUQU G10 Folding Knife - Brown

Compact folding knife conceived by an eight-year-old Gogo, the daughter of the co-owner of Bestech Knives. Inspiration for this model came from a cricket. Further development was undertaken in partnership with acclaimed knife designer Ostap Hel, recognized for his modern, minimalist aesthetics and exceptional functionality in knife design.

Emerging from this remarkable collaboration is a lightweight, compact folder distinguished by its unique design, blending the imaginative vision of a child with the expertise and practicality of professional ergonomics.

14C28N stainless steel and satin finishing

The blade is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, engineered by the Swedish firm Sandvik. The chemical composition has been meticulously adjusted to deliver superior hardness. Optimized nitrogen levels preserve corrosion resistance and boost the blade’s edge retention. Inclusion of carbon ensures excellent cutting performance, while the addition of chromium provides exceptional resistance to rust and oxidation. The surface of the blade features a refined satin polish.

blade with a spear-point profile, smooth cutting edge

Equipped with a blade featuring a Spear-Point profile, the model stands out with its symmetrical design and sharply pointed tip, ideal for accurate slicing and piercing tasks. The 56 mm blade comes with a smooth cutting edge, making it well-suited for daily use and handling light outdoor chores. Crafted with a flat grind, the blade offers excellent cutting performance, lowers cutting resistance, and simplifies later sharpening.

A fuller, designed as a longitudinal groove, is incorporated along the blade, enhancing its dynamic look while optimizing balance and providing greater control during use.

handy handle, spring clip

Equipped with a practical handle featuring a non-slip texture, crafted from G10 laminate—a rugged combination of fiberglass and epoxy resin. Everyday carry is made easy thanks to a resilient steel clip that can be repositioned to either side of the handle.

button lock, ball bearing

Deploy the blade by engaging the button, which disengages the Button Lock mechanism, combined with a swift flick of the wrist. Enhanced deployment speed is ensured thanks to the integration of a ceramic ball bearing within the knife's pivot.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
Button Lock feature
Button Lock
Button Lock (also known as Plunge Lock) is a locking mechanism in folding knives based on a spring button. When fully opened, the tang enters a notch at the base of the blade and locks it in the working position; when closed, the same element acts as a detent. The design allows for smooth opening and closing with one hand and increases safety, as it does not require the user to place their fingers on the blade line. Thanks to its simplicity and reliability, the Button Lock is often used in EDC knives and collector's models.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
