A practical folding knife crafted from the imagination of eight-year-old Gogo, daughter of the co-owner of Bestech Knives. Drawing inspiration from a cricket, the design was brought to life in partnership with esteemed knife maker Ostap Hel, recognized for his minimalist, contemporary shapes and high-performing tools.

The synergy of youthful ingenuity and expert craftsmanship has produced a compact folder boasting a lightweight build and a distinctive profile, merging playful creativity with advanced ergonomics and tactical functionality.

14C28N stainless steel and protective coating

The knife features a blade crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, engineered by the Swedish company Sandvik. The chemical makeup of this material is optimized for exceptional hardness. An optimal amount of nitrogen ensures maintained corrosion resistance and boosts edge retention, while carbon contributes to outstanding cutting performance. The addition of chromium gives the steel a high degree of resistance to rust and oxidation. A DLC coating has been applied to the blade’s surface for added protection.

Equipped with a blade featuring a Spear-Point profile, the model is defined by its symmetrical geometry and sharply tapered tip, allowing for accuracy in both cutting and piercing operations. The blade length of 56 mm with a smooth cutting edge ensures versatility for everyday use as well as light outdoor applications. Manufactured with a flat grind, the blade delivers excellent cutting efficiency, minimizes drag during slicing, and simplifies future sharpening efforts.

A fuller in the form of a longitudinal groove is integrated into the blade, enhancing its dynamic look while optimizing balance and improving handling during use.

A durable handle featuring a non-slip surface is crafted from G10 laminate, a composite of fiberglass and epoxy resin. Easy, everyday carry is ensured by a resilient steel clip, which can be repositioned to either side of the handle for added versatility.

Deploy the blade by pressing a button, which disengages the Button Lock mechanism, combined with a swift flick of the wrist. Rapid blade deployment is ensured by a ceramic ball bearing integrated into the knife's main axis.

14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.

Button Lock (also known as Plunge Lock) is a locking mechanism in folding knives based on a spring button. When fully opened, the tang enters a notch at the base of the blade and locks it in the working position; when closed, the same element acts as a detent. The design allows for smooth opening and closing with one hand and increases safety, as it does not require the user to place their fingers on the blade line. Thanks to its simplicity and reliability, the Button Lock is often used in EDC knives and collector's models.

DLC - Diamond-Like Carbon
DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) is a modern protective coating in which a thin layer of amorphous carbon with a structure similar to diamond is applied to steel. It increases the hardness and abrasion resistance of the blade, protects against corrosion, and reduces friction during cutting. The characteristic matte shade of black or anthracite gives the knife a tactical look and eliminates light reflections, which is important in military and outdoor applications. Thanks to its high scratch resistance, the blade retains its aesthetics and functional properties for longer, which is why the DLC finish is widely used in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
