Forged from 14C28N stainless steel engineered by the Swedish manufacturer Sandvik, the knife blade boasts a chemical composition fine-tuned for exceptional hardness. Thanks to an optimal nitrogen content, the blade maintains impressive corrosion resistance while offering enhanced edge retention. The incorporation of carbon ensures superior cutting performance, while chromium delivers outstanding protection against rust and oxidation. The blade is finished with a blue coating for added durability and style.
Equipped with a blade featuring a Spear-Point profile, the model boasts a symmetrical design and an acute tip suited for both precise cutting and effective piercing. The 56 mm blade is constructed with a smooth cutting edge, offering reliability for routine tasks as well as lightweight outdoor applications. Crafted with a flat grind, the blade delivers excellent slicing performance, minimizes resistance during use, and simplifies sharpening processes.
Incorporation of a fuller in the form of a longitudinal groove enhances the blade’s appearance with a dynamic contour while also optimizing the balance, thereby increasing control over the tool during operation.
A practical handle featuring a non-slip texture is constructed from G10 laminate, a durable blend of fiberglass and epoxy resin. Convenient daily carry is ensured by a robust and flexible steel clip, which can be repositioned to either side of the handle.
Deployment of the blade utilizes a button to disengage the Button Lock mechanism, combined with a swift wrist motion. Blade deployment is further enhanced by a ceramic ball bearing integrated into the knife's main axis, ensuring rapid and smooth action.
