D2 tool steel
Constructed from D2 tool steel, the blade is hardened to a level of 58-60 HRC. This material delivers excellent resistance to edge dulling while preserving optimal impact toughness.
Drop-Point blade, DLC coating
Equipped with a Drop-Point blade, this knife boasts a length of 90 mm and a thickness of 3.5 mm. The edge is plain and utilizes a full flat grind for efficient cutting, while a secondary grind positioned near the tip enhances both piercing ability and control for detail work. A durable black DLC coating (Diamond Like Carbon) protects the blade from scratches and reduces glare. To further maximize user comfort, the spine features jimping for secure and stable thumb placement during use.
Button Lock, ball bearings
A Button Lock mechanism securely holds the blade in the open position. Rapid deployment is enabled by a double-sided thumb stud, enhanced with ceramic ball bearings for smooth operation.
G10 laminate handle

D2
D2 is a high-carbon tool steel classified as semi-stainless, characterized by high wear resistance and the ability to maintain a thin, durable edge. It achieves a hardness of 57-62 HRC, which ensures long-lasting sharpness even with intensive use. Its chemical composition is a precisely selected combination of elements: carbon (1.4-1.6%), chromium (11-13%), molybdenum (up to 0.8%), vanadium (up to 1%), manganese (up to 1%), and silicon (up to 1%). The high carbon and chromium content ensures hardness and wear resistance, while molybdenum and vanadium improve the strength and durability of the cutting edge. Although D2 steel is not completely stainless, its corrosion resistance is sufficient to meet the requirements of most conditions of use. It is widely used in the production of mid-range and high-end knives, including handmade knives and cutting tools.
DLC - Diamond-Like Carbon
DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) is a modern protective coating in which a thin layer of amorphous carbon with a structure similar to diamond is applied to steel. It increases the hardness and abrasion resistance of the blade, protects against corrosion, and reduces friction during cutting. The characteristic matte shade of black or anthracite gives the knife a tactical look and eliminates light reflections, which is important in military and outdoor applications. Thanks to its high scratch resistance, the blade retains its aesthetics and functional properties for longer, which is why the DLC finish is widely used in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.

Great knife at a good price. D2 steel is a whole different level of sharpness retention compared to stainless. Comfortable and contoured handle, pleasant "click" on opening, and the clip can be switched to the other side. Just remember to regularly protect the cutting edge with some oil to prevent rust.

I bought this knife in blue because it was cheaper, and they look identical. Great tool for a gentleman or lady. Lightweight, nice, and well made from quality materials. The blade lock is probably an axis lock, where the locking pin is spring-loaded. You press it and you can close or open the blade. You can also open it with the thumb stud on the blade itself. It works smoothly and easily. I recommend it.
