It takes a bit of developing muscle memory to open it this way, but after that it is a lot of fun. A decent, inexpensive knife that will be sufficient as an EDC for almost anyone.
Bestechman Smuga by Grzegorz "Kombou" Grabarski Folding Knife - Black/Carbon
A lightweight folding EDC knife designed by Grzegorz “Kombou” Grabarski, featuring a blade made of AEB-L stainless steel and black G10 laminate scales with a decorative carbon fiber pattern. The blade can be opened using a front flipper or a blade hole, and the mechanism is supported by ceramic ball bearings. The blade is locked by a Liner Lock, while the deep-carry clip allows discreet knife carry.
Polish design
Grzegorz “Kombou” Grabarski is a well-known Polish knife designer who draws inspiration from pop culture, video games, nature, and biomechanics, combining modern design with futuristic, organic forms. He has collaborated with the Brrr... Knives brand, and his designs are currently created in cooperation with Bestech Knives and have gained international recognition among collectors.
AEB-L steel with a hardness of 61–62 HRC
The blade is made of AEB-L stainless steel, hardened to 61–62 HRC and subjected to cryogenic treatment. The material is characterized by good corrosion resistance, ease of sharpening, and the ability to maintain a sharp cutting edge.
Drop-Point blade, flat grind
The Drop-Point blade is 90,2 mm long and 3,2 mm thick. It features a flat grind, which supports efficient cutting through material. The surface is finished using the Stonewashed method, giving the blade a subdued, utilitarian appearance and helping to mask minor signs of use.
G10 laminate scales, Deep Carry clip
The handle scales are made of black G10 laminate with a decorative carbon fiber pattern. The material retains the performance properties of G10, such as high mechanical resistance and low susceptibility to moisture, while the pattern gives the handle a more technical look. The knife is equipped with a deep-carry Deep Carry clip in a tip-up configuration, which can be mounted on the right or left side.
Liner Lock, two opening methods
The blade can be opened using a front flipper or a blade hole. Smooth mechanism operation is supported by ceramic ball bearings. Once opened, the blade is secured by a Liner Lock, which protects against accidental folding during use.
