Band selection is straightforward with the front-panel "Mode" button. Station tuning can be performed either automatically via the "Prog" button or manually for greater precision. Memory storage is capable of holding up to 50 radio stations for FM, and 20 for AM. Clear, high-fidelity signal reception is delivered by the integrated telescopic antenna, which allows full directional adjustment.
Equipped with a SOS alarm feature, the device emits a 110 dB acoustic signal, aiding rescue teams in quickly locating individuals in distress. In addition to its radio capability, the ER20 model is also designed to function as a flashlight, utilizing a built-in LED with three lighting modes.
The integrated 2000 mAh battery can be recharged using the built-in solar panel or the hand-crank generator. Full charging through solar power requires about 60 hours of direct sunlight exposure. The solar panel is fitted with a small lamp, offering an auxiliary light source. Engaging the hand-crank for approximately 360 rotations supplies adequate energy for roughly 30 minutes of radio or flashlight use.
