The emergency radio is made of good quality materials. An advantage is the ability to charge it via the built-in dynamo as well as the power grid. Two independent light sources are an additional plus. A product worth recommending.
Blaupunkt ER20 Emergency Radio - Green Camo
AM/FM emergency radio equipped with power bank functionality. Ideal for outdoor adventures—hiking, camping, beach trips, or everyday scenarios where access to external power is not available.
Analog radio tuner, telescopic antenna
Featuring a dual-band analog radio tuner, this model supports the reception of broadcasts in the FM and AM frequency bands. FM is available across 87.5 - 108.0 MHz, while AM covers 522 - 1620 KHz. Band selection is straightforward with the front-panel "Mode" button. Station tuning can be performed either automatically via the "Prog" button or manually for greater precision. Memory storage is capable of holding up to 50 radio stations for FM, and 20 for AM. Clear, high-fidelity signal reception is delivered by the integrated telescopic antenna, which allows full directional adjustment.
LED flashlight, SOS mode
Equipped with a SOS alarm feature, the device emits a 110 dB acoustic signal, aiding rescue teams in quickly locating individuals in distress. In addition to its radio capability, the ER20 model is also designed to function as a flashlight, utilizing a built-in LED with three lighting modes.
Built-in battery, solar panel, hand-crank generator
The integrated 2000 mAh battery can be recharged using the built-in solar panel or the hand-crank generator. Full charging through solar power requires about 60 hours of direct sunlight exposure. The solar panel is fitted with a small lamp, offering an auxiliary light source. Engaging the hand-crank for approximately 360 rotations supplies adequate energy for roughly 30 minutes of radio or flashlight use. Charging from an external source is also supported with the included USB-C cable, achieving a full charge within 4-5 hours.
Power bank function, battery level indicator
Equipped with a USB-C connector, the radio can function as a portable, backup power bank, enabling the charging of most electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, and notebooks. A built-in battery level indicator provides real-time updates on the battery’s condition during operation. When fully charged, the battery supports 10 to 15 hours of radio use.

Good quality. It has everything you would expect in such a device. The digital dial is handy and well worth the upgrade. The cracking mechanism works well. I haven’t tested the solar panel. Price is a bit high considering it doesn’t have DAB+.

The product has a good quality-to-price ratio, I bought it as a birthday gift. The camouflage has a nice shade, the device is solar-powered and offers several additional functions. It is handy and lighter than I expected, which makes it easy to carry. The 2000 mAh battery is not the most efficient, but sometimes cheaper Chinese products may provide exaggerated data. Overall, it's a good purchase for this price. Shipping was express as always, and not having to pay customs fees to the UK is a big advantage.
