Boker Magnum Backpacker Folding Knife

440A stainless steel
440A stainless steel used in the knife is selected with everyday use and outdoor work in mind. This material achieves a hardness of approximately 56-58 HRC, offering a good balance between corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and ease of sharpening. 440A is characterized by high resistance to moisture and rust, good impact toughness, and moderate resistance to abrasion and blunting.
