Boker is a German knife manufacturer with a tradition dating back to the 17th century, known for its distinctive chestnut tree logo – “Tree Brand.” In 1830, the company was already producing up to 2000 sabers per week, which were sent to battlefields across Europe. In the 19th century, it expanded its operations to the US, Canada, and Mexico, establishing recognizable subsidiaries. Today, the main factory in Solingen specializes in handcrafted collector's and utility knives, including those made of steel recovered from historical objects such as the Tripitz battleship. I've been flipping butterfly knives for a while now. My previous favorite started to fall apart, so I thought of this knife and I don't regret it! Pros: Very nicely made, weight matches the description, it's big, doesn't corrode even a little, it's fairly well balanced. The wood is real and elegant. Screws are glued. Cons: The wood is unevenly cut—some pieces are thinner and narrower than others (probably to balance the weight). It's a shame you can't remove the latch (handle lock).

This is not a butterfly knife for complicated tricks. It's too big, heavy, and bulky for that, but that gives it charm. When open, it resembles a dagger because of its size. It's worth applying glue to the screws so they stay at the proper tightness. The knife's weight may cause the screws to loosen just from opening and closing it. Overall, the knife looks beautiful and fits nicely in the hand. As you can see, mine uses two types of wood, which I actually like. For this price, it's a great knife.

Very good, even sharp, but a bit unfinished—you can see where the wooden elements are sticking out.
