Boker Magnum Rekin Folding Knife

A folding general-purpose knife with a Drop-Point blade. The blade is made of 440A stainless steel, which offers high corrosion resistance. The blade surface has been finished using a satin finish, giving it a semi-matte appearance. Jimping (grooves) has been added to the spine of the blade, where the thumb rests, to provide better control over the blade during cutting.

The knife is opened using a flipper or, alternatively, a double-sided thumb stud. The blade is locked in place by a Liner Lock mechanism. The opening process itself has been made faster and smoother by incorporating a ball bearing into the knife's main axis.

G10 laminate handle, elastic steel clip

Contoured handle scales are crafted from G10 laminate, a composite of fiberglass and epoxy resin. The anti-slip texture guarantees a secure and reliable hold. A spring steel clip, positioned tip-up, provides ease for everyday carry. A lanyard or cord can be attached through the hole located at the end of the handle.

    Opening with the flipper is a bit too stiff, but maybe that's just how mine is. However, it's not a major flaw. The knife comes quite well sharpened, and for the price, the build quality is very good.

The dimensions are, in my opinion, ideal—8 cm of sharp blade, a comfortable handle, and only 102 grams in weight. The blade steel is very easy to sharpen. The deep carry clip hides the knife deep in the pocket.
