The handle scales are made from wood.

14C28N stainless steel

The blade is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, known for its high corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening while maintaining excellent working sharpness. This steel was developed with knives in mind, thus offering a favorable balance between wear resistance, strength, and edge stability. Its fine-grained structure translates to clean, aggressive cutting and good control during sharpening, making it suitable for EDC and outdoor applications. 14C28N steel handles moisture and daily use well, delivering reliable performance across a wide range of applications.

Drop-Point profile, flat grind

The blade with a Full Tang construction and Drop-Point profile is 108 mm long and 3.7 mm thick. The shape of the blade ensures excellent cutting efficiency while maintaining adequate strength, enabling more intensive knife use. The blade is high flat ground and finished with a satin finish, creating a semi-matte effect.

wooden scales, lanyard hole

The handle scales are made of walnut wood, which is characterized by high hardness, wear resistance. Ergonomic contouring of the scales provides a secure grip and prevents fingers from slipping on the blade, thus increasing safety at work. The properly contoured shape of the grip section protects against slipping of the hand on the blade. At the end of the handle there is a hole for threading a safety cord.

leather sheath

It comes with a sheath made of leather that allows you to safely carry the knife on your belt or equipments. A leather strap with a snap closure prevents the knife from falling out of the sheath.

Boker is a German knife manufacturer with a tradition dating back to the 17th century, known for its distinctive chestnut tree logo – “Tree Brand.” In 1830, the company was already producing up to 2000 sabers per week, which were sent to battlefields across Europe. In the 19th century, it expanded its operations to the US, Canada, and Mexico, establishing recognizable subsidiaries. Today, the main factory in Solingen specializes in handcrafted collector's and utility knives, including those made of steel recovered from historical objects such as the Tripitz battleship. 14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
