Bushnell Engage 10x42 Roof Binoculars
The Bushnell Engage binoculars feature a fixed 10x magnification and an objective lens diameter of 42 mm. Engineered with advanced technology, these binoculars deliver excellent image resolution and contrast, along with a wide field of view. Adjustable eyecups and precise diopter adjustment provide comfort for extended use and enable personalized settings. The roof prism design ensures a compact build, making these binoculars easy to carry in a small bag.
anti-reflective coatings, adjustable eyecups
The lenses are crafted from a special type of glass characterized by a low-light dispersion index, known as ED (Extra-low Dispersion). Optics manufactured from this material deliver outstanding resolution and contrast, almost entirely eliminating chromatic aberration—those distinct purple or yellow fringes that can be seen on the edges of objects in less sophisticated binoculars.
Each lens is treated with FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) anti-reflective coatings, with all glass-to-air surfaces undergoing multiple layers of these coatings to reduce undesired reflections and minimize light loss within the optical system. Furthermore, every lens surface benefits from an added layer of UWB (Ultra Wide Band Coating) anti-reflective coating for enhanced clarity.
EXO Barrier Protection technology features an advanced protective layer that repels moisture, offering resistance to dust and scratches, which ensures reliable viewing even in rainy conditions. The coating also helps prevent condensation from breath.
High-quality roof prisms are enhanced with DPC (Dielectric Prism Coating) to achieve peak brightness and clarity, significantly improving color accuracy, detail, and contrast. In addition, a PC-3 Phase Coating addresses phase shift in reflected light waves, overcoming related loss of image quality.
Durable construction, rubberized coating
Equipped with prisms crafted from BaK-4 glass, the highest-grade optical glass available, these binoculars deliver exceptional brightness and image sharpness far superior to models utilizing the more affordable BK-7 optical glass.
Engineered to comply with the IPX7 waterproof rating, these binoculars can withstand immersion in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter.
manufacturer's warranty
Includes a manufacturer's warranty of 15 years for the binoculars.

BaK-4
BaK-4 are high-end prisms made of Barium Crown glass, containing barium oxide. They are used in advanced optics such as binoculars, telescopes and finders, where image quality is crucial. BaK-4 glass is characterized by a high refractive index, resulting in a sharp, bright and well-contrasted image with minimal chromatic aberration. With excellent light transmission, these prisms perform particularly well in low-light conditions.
DPC - Dielectric Prism Coating
DPC (Dielectric Prism Coating) is an advanced dielectric optical coating applied to roof prisms in Bushnell devices. The use of this multi-layer coating increases the reflectivity inside the prism to more than 99%, resulting in better light transmission, higher image brightness and more faithful color reproduction.
ED Prime
ED Prime Glass is a high-performance Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass used in the lenses of Bushnell optical devices. By reducing chromatic aberration, it provides exceptional sharpness, high resolution and accurate color reproduction - even at high magnification and in demanding lighting conditions. Lenses made with ED Prime Glass offer a clearer, more detailed image and are standard in premium products for demanding users such as hunters, wildlife watchers and field professionals.
EXO Barrier
EXO Barrier is the latest generation of protective coating developed by Bushnell, applied to the outer surfaces of lenses. It forms a microscopic, durable layer that resists water, dust, oil, fingerprints and other contaminants. Water droplets run off immediately and dirt does not adhere to the glass, ensuring maximum image clarity in all conditions. The EXO Barrier coating is permanently bonded to the surface of the optics, resistant to abrasion and effective for the life of the device.
FMC - Fully MultiCoated
FMC (Fully MultiCoated) is a technology used in optical devices to apply multi-layer anti-reflective coatings to all lens surfaces in contact with air. This solution effectively reduces reflections and light loss, improving brightness, contrast and image clarity. The increased light transmission translates into a sharper and more detailed image, which is crucial when observing in limited light conditions.
UWB - Ultra Wide Band
Ultra Wide Band (UWB) is an advanced anti-reflective coating technology used in Bushnell optics. It involves individually adjusting anti-reflective coatings for each optical element in the light path, allowing maximum light penetration from the objective lens to the eyepiece. This results in images with enhanced brightness and contrast. UWB technology also minimizes unwanted glare and flare, improving image clarity.

My best purchase in the last month. Amazing. Previously, I used Nikon binoculars with the same magnification. The view is completely different. I didn't expect such a big difference. I recommend it without hesitation.
-
The image is bright and high in contrast with good sharpness and a wide field of view. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Great binoculars. The quality of the zoomed image is amazing. Brightness and details are indescribable. Previously, I used an old military 7x45. This is like switching to a Mercedes. I recommend it. The binoculars are worth the money spent.

The Bushnell Engage EDX is excellent optics and quality workmanship, I am very satisfied with the purchase. It performs very well in low light as well as on very sunny days, it's not too heavy to carry, and fits securely in your hands. The image is clear and sharp, everything up to 2 kilometers away is 'readable', and up close it's razor-sharp; for example, within a radius of up to 46 kilometers, buildings and structures are visible that you can, of course, recognize if you live in the area (of course, on a very clear day). Highly recommend!

Binoculars. I don't know what to say. This isn't just binoculars, it's a treasure. I've never been so happy with anything. It's absolutely wonderful. I recommend it. An amazing pair of binoculars.

Very good binoculars, worth their price. Importantly, they are very bright, and the view does not get darkened. They work well at dusk. I like the ability to adjust the diopter, so even with significant vision impairment, you can successfully observe nature and landscapes. To put it more vividly - you can read car license plates from a kilometer away. I bought them as a gift for my husband, and he is very satisfied.
