The lenses are crafted from a special type of glass characterized by a low-light dispersion index, known as ED (Extra-low Dispersion). Great binoculars. The quality of the zoomed image is amazing. Brightness and details are indescribable. Previously, I used an old military 7x45. This is like switching to a Mercedes. I recommend it. The binoculars are worth the money spent.
