Bushnell R3 Binoculars 8x42 - Ranger Green

Binoculars offering 8x magnification and a 42 mm objective lens diameter. Outfitted with an HDOS optical system, delivering enhanced light transmission, excellent contrast, and superior resolution. An ideal solution for users requiring reliable observation across diverse lighting conditions, well-suited for both survival adventures and military use.

HDOS optics, BaK-4 glass, EXO Barrier and FMC coatings

HDOS (HD Optical System) optical technology ensures exceptional light transmission, high contrast, and excellent image resolution. Premium BaK-4 glass is used for the prisms, providing superior brightness and clarity unmatched by binoculars that utilize more affordable Bk-7 optical glass.

Prisms are protected by an EXO Barrier coating, effectively repelling water, oil, and various contaminants from the surface. Furthermore, every air-to-glass interface is treated with multiple layers of FMC (Fully MultiCoated) anti-reflective coatings, significantly reducing unwanted reflections and minimizing light loss throughout the optical system.

Focus and diopter adjustment knobs, adjustable eyecups

Fitted with knobs for focus adjustment and diopter correction, the model enables precise configuration to match your vision needs. Adjustable eyecups let you set the lens spacing for optimal alignment with your eye sockets and offer comfortable binocular use without needing to remove your corrective glasses or sunglasses.

Damage-resistant design that meets IPX7 waterproof rating

A rubber coating envelops the housing, ensuring a secure and stable grip even during harsh weather conditions. The binocular barrels are infused with dry nitrogen gas and sealed with O-rings, effectively preventing internal lens fogging.

Engineered to comply with a IPX7 waterproof rating, the binoculars are protected against water immersion at depths of up to 1 meter for as long as 30 minutes. A mounting socket on the housing enables the use of a tripod. Featuring Roof (roof) prisms, the binoculars maintain a compact form factor, making them easy to carry and transport.

Bushnell R3 10x42 Binoculars - Ranger Green, my first binoculars in this class, well made with a nice clear image, sturdy case and neck strap, possibility to attach the binoculars to the case. They fit well in the hand. One downside is the lens covers, which do not fit well and fall off. Despite this, I give it 5 stars.

I received it as a gift. I never managed to take it outdoors. Used a few times at home. It sat in the case for half a year, maybe more. Today I took it out and the plastic was cracked and it fell apart into two pieces. Really poor quality.

This is my first pair of binoculars, I was tempted by the promotional price of almost 50%. For this price, such equipment, a bag, a harness, the binoculars themselves are also great. I hope it will serve me well and make going outside more interesting, encouraging me to go out more often.

Binoculars bought on promotion at a fantastic price, especially considering the set includes a case/harness, so the price is just unbeatable. The build quality and the binoculars themselves are excellent!

Great quality binoculars, both in terms of finish and image, as well as an elegant case with harness and shoulder strap. Worth its price and double the joy during the BF promotion.

Great, handy binoculars. They zoom in very well, the image is clear, and the size is compact. Ideal for the forest, etc. Very well-made binoculars, it's a pleasure to hold them in your hand. I recommend them.
