Carinthia Combat Jacket - MultiCam

Lightweight tactical jacket constructed from a combination of polyamide and cotton. Features include Cordura reinforcements at the shoulders and elbows, along with elastic inserts to enhance mobility. The collar is lined with G-Loft fleece at a density of 100 g/m2, delivering effective insulation against cold conditions. Design incorporates six pockets, adjustable cuffs, and velcro panels for mounting patches. Compatible with the Combat Hood.

The outer fabric is crafted from a blend of 50% polyamide and 50% cotton, providing excellent resistance to abrasion, tearing, and mechanical stresses, while ensuring effective breathability. Quick-drying properties make the material well-suited for use in the field and for extended wear.

Elastic panels feature a composition of 91% polyamide and 9% elastane, delivering enhanced freedom of movement and a better fit to the body.

Cordura reinforcements safeguard high-wear zones, including the shoulders and elbows, to maximize overall garment durability.

The collar is insulated with G-Loft at a density of 100 g/m2, promoting thermal retention in cold conditions and providing wind protection.

Model features 6 pockets for versatile storage options:

• two chest pockets secured with zipper closures
• two shoulder pockets equipped with waterproof zippers
• two internal mesh compartments

In addition, the jacket includes two elbow pockets designed for inserting protectors.

Adjustable velcro cuffs ensure a secure fit around the wrists, effectively minimizing the entry of cold air. Velcro panels are integrated on the shoulders and chest for easy attachment of patches, insignia, or identifiers such as a national flag, unit badge, or so-called Morale Patches. For added versatility, three velcro areas on the collar allow the attachment of a compatible Combat Hood.

MultiCam represents an advanced camouflage design, introduced in 2002 by Crye Precision, a US-based company, in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) under the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The primary objective was to engineer a highly adaptable camouflage capable of providing effective concealment across varied landscapes and fluctuating environmental conditions. Incorporating seven distinct colors, the MultiCam pattern features seamless gradations between greens, browns, and beiges. This color palette enables optimal blending with surrounding environments, reflecting more greens in wooded settings and more browns and beiges in arid or desert-like areas—making it especially effective in autumn or among dry foliage typical for Central and Eastern Europe. MultiCam is globally renowned and has been adopted by numerous military organizations and elite units. In 2010, the US Army officially selected this camouflage to equip soldiers deployed in Afghanistan, thereby superseding the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Civilian access to the pattern has also contributed to its popularity among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
