Carinthia SOF 1 Medium Sleeping Bag Olive - Right
Rugged sleeping bag in an Olive color, designed with a mummy-style shape for optimal body alignment and freedom of movement throughout the night. Crafted from premium polyamide, it comes equipped with a durable outer layer and G-Loft insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
Alpinus Warm sleeping bag operational temperatures are specified in compliance with the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: +1 deg. C – indicates the lowest temperature at which a woman can remain comfortably asleep throughout the night.
- T-limit: -3 deg. C – specifies the minimum temperature at which a man can stay asleep for the entire night without discomfort.
- T-extreme: -16 deg. C – signifies the lowest temperature where survival inside the sleeping bag is possible. This is not recommended for regular use.
G-Loft filling
The sleeping bag features an interior filled with lightweight synthetic G-Loft insulation at 85 g/m2, designed to ensure optimal thermal comfort. Thanks to its construction, the insulation preserves its thermal efficiency even after exposure to moisture, repeated washing, and prolonged use.
Right-side zipper, Anti Snag system
A two-way zipper positioned on the right side ensures the sleeping bag can be fully opened. The integrated Anti Snag system safeguards the fabric against catching in the zipper. At the top, a Velcro flap secures the zipper to keep it closed during sleep. An internal small pocket provides space for storing essential personal items. Compatibility with other models from the "Fast & Light" series allows for connecting sleeping bags.
Integrated hood for cold protection
The integrated hood offers enhanced thermal insulation by enclosing the head, thereby minimizing heat loss in cold environments. Its contoured design further improves protection against wind and moisture.

G-Loft insulation is an advanced material consisting of a three-dimensional structure of hollow polyester fibers that trap dry air to form an effective thermal insulation layer. These fibers retain their shape thanks to a memory effect, allowing them to return to their original form after getting wet, washing and heavy use. G-Loft, used mainly in outdoor clothing and equipment, combines the characteristics of natural down and synthetic fill, offering excellent thermal insulation, lightness, resilience and moisture resistance.
Anti Snag is a technology used in sleeping bags to prevent the zipper from snagging. Thanks to the use of a special anti-snag tape along the zipper and an external protective strip, the risk of snagging the fabric when zipping or unzipping the sleeping bag is minimized. Such a solution not only makes it easier to operate the zipper, but also increases the durability of the product, protecting the fabric from mechanical damage.
