Carinthia Wilderness Sleeping Bag - Olive Large Right
Olive sleeping bag with a mummy design, intended for overnight stays outdoors during low temperatures, when effective thermal insulation is essential The tapered fit sits closer to the body, reducing the area that needs to be warmed and supporting the effectiveness of the insulating layer used.
The design is equipped with closable hand openings, which allow you to operate equipment, use handy accessories and adjust camping gear while remaining inside the sleeping bag. Its thermal properties are supported among others by an insulated G-Loft collar, a double-layer construction and the innovative Thermoflect system.
Temperature ratings and conditions of use
The temperature ratings of the Wilderness sleeping bag determined in accordance with EN 13537:
- T-comfort: -18 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: -38 degrees Celsius - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort.
durable outer material
The outer layer is made of lightweight and durable polyamide fabric, which forms a protective shell for the insulation. The fabric limits the penetration of light moisture and protects the inside of the sleeping bag from contact with a cold, damp environment. Its smooth surface also makes packing easier and reduces the risk of snagging on tent equipment or clothing.
The inside of the sleeping bag is finished with a lining made from a fabric blend of 50% cotton and 50% polyester.
synthetic G-Loft insulation
Thermal insulation is provided by G-Loft fill made of 100% polyester. The synthetic fibres create a layer that traps warmed air, limiting its exchange with the cold outside air.
The insulation retains its properties in conditions of elevated humidity. The fill is enclosed in a double-layer construction, which improves insulation continuity and limits the formation of areas with reduced thermal protection.
Thermoflect system - warmth and comfort
The model uses a Thermoflect layer that supports heat retention inside the sleeping bag It limits heat loss and helps maintain a higher temperature. Combined with G-Loft insulation and the double-layer construction, it increases insulation efficiency during overnight stays in cold conditions.

The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper, which can be opened independently from the top and from the bottom. This allows ventilation adjustment and lets you adapt the opening range to current conditions.
Along the zipper there is an insulating strip, which limits cold air penetration through the closure The anti-snag tape helps prevent the fabric from being caught in the slider and makes zipping and unzipping the sleeping bag easier and smoother.
Hand openings, trapezoidal footbox, G-Loft collar
Closable hand openings allow basic tasks to be performed without unzipping the entire sleeping bag. They make it easier to use a phone, camera or flashlight and to consult maps and documents. The lower part of the sleeping bag has a trapezoidal shape, which gives the feet more room than a strongly tapered end. This supports a natural leg position and increases comfort during sleep.
An insulated G-Loft thermal collar is used in the upper part of the sleeping bag. Its role is to limit the escape of warmed air around the neck and shoulders and reduce the inflow of cold air into the interior.
