Carinthia XP TOP Summer Large Sleeping Bag - Black
A summer sleeping bag in black designed for overnight stays in warmer conditions. The G-Loft insulation used with a grammage of 135 g/m2 provides basic thermal insulation while maintaining a low weight and compact packed size.
The model was designed as a standalone sleeping bag for summer, as well as a component of a modular system. It can be used as an outer shell compatible with all Carinthia sleeping bags, increasing their protection against wind and moisture and expanding the application range of the entire set.
Temperatures and conditions of use
Operating temperatures of the XP TOP Summer sleeping bag specified in accordance with EN 13537:
- T-comfort: 5,8 degrees Celsius. - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: 0,9 degrees Celsius. - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort.
Shellproof outer material and Shelltex Ultra lining
The outer layer is made of durable Shellproof material, which provides protection against wind and light moisture. The fabric has hydrophobic properties, which limits the absorption of moisture from dew or humid air. The inside of the sleeping bag is finished with a lightweight and soft Shelltex Ultra lining. The material is made of 100% polyamide.

Insulation is provided by G-Loft synthetic filling with a grammage of 135 g/m2. The 100% polyester filling creates a lightweight layer that retains warmed air and reduces heat loss during overnight stays. The insulation retains its properties in conditions of increased humidity.
Thermoflect system - warmth and comfort
The model uses a Thermoflect layer that supports heat retention inside the sleeping bag. It reduces heat loss and helps maintain a higher temperature. Combined with G-Loft insulation and a two-layer construction, it increases insulation effectiveness during overnight stays in cool conditions.

The modular design allows the sleeping system to be adjusted to current conditions. On warmer nights the model can be used on its own, while in cooler surroundings it can complement the main sleeping bag as an additional outer layer.
Two-way zip and central fastening
The sleeping bag is equipped with a centrally positioned two-way zip. The zip can be opened from the top and bottom, allowing ventilation adjustment and adaptation of the opening range to thermal conditions. Along the zip there is a protective flap, which limits the penetration of cool air through the fastening and improves the continuity of thermal insulation.
The anti-snag tape helps prevent the material from being caught in the slider during fastening and unfastening. It makes the zip easier to operate smoothly, which is particularly important in conditions of limited visibility or in the small space of a tent.
Adjustable face opening
An adjustable face opening is used in the upper part of the sleeping bag. It allows the degree of head and face coverage to be adjusted to current weather conditions.
The adjustment makes it possible to limit the inflow of cool air during sleep and increase ventilation when the ambient temperature is higher. The opening can be adjusted using a drawstring.
compression cover included
The set includes a compression sack, which allows the volume of the sleeping bag to be reduced during transport. When packed, the model takes up little space, so it can be conveniently placed in a backpack, travel bag or vehicle.
The single-layer construction makes it easier to carry. The sleeping bag weighs 1200 g, and when compressed its size is approximately 18 x 26 cm.
