Civivi Altus Fixed Blade Stonewashed 14C28N G10 Fixed Blade Knife - OD Green

A Full-Tag design knife with a Drop-Point profile blade and 76 mm in length, manufactured from corrosion-resistant 14C28N stainless steel. The use of damage-resistant materials, refined design and precise workmanship translate into high durability of the tool.

The Altus model will perform well during a wide range of activities - from outdoor expeditions, through daily use (EDC), to light field work. The set comes with a sheath made of Kydex plastic with a T-Clip handle and a lanyard made of braided paracord.

The knife blade is crafted from high-quality 14C28N stainless steel, hardened to a hardness of 58-60 HRC. The chemical composition of the material has been optimized to achieve high hardness. The carbon content supports achieving good cutting properties, while chromium ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation.

The blade is coated with a Stonewashed finish that is highly scratch-resistant. The coating gives the steel a matte irregular texture, reduces light reflections, and effectively masks usage marks that occur during use.

The model features a blade with a Drop-Point profile, smooth cutting edge, and a length of 76 mm. The blade is finished with a flat grind. The spine of the blade features jimping (texturing) that provides a reliable thumb rest and enhances control over the blade during cutting operations.

Proper balance of the blade results in better control over the knife. The weight is evenly distributed between the blade and the handle, providing higher cutting precision and reducing hand fatigue during prolonged use.

The knife is equipped with an ergonomically shaped handle made from G10 laminate in green color. This material is resistant to moisture, temperature changes, as well as most solvents and acids. Additionally, it exhibits high resistance to mechanical damage. The textured surface of the scales ensures a firm and secure grip while working with the knife.

The model comes with a black sheath made from durable Kydex, known for its lightness and resistance to mechanical damage. The sheath's design ensures safe storage of the knife and allows quick access when needed.

The multi-position T-Clip holder with adjustable screws enables multi-position mounting of the sheath on a belt or other equipment components. A protruding portion at the end of the handle features a tang with a hole, to which a lanyard made from braided paracord is attached.
