Cold Steel Marauder Stonewash AUS-8A Fixed Blade Knife

Inspired by the legendary fighting knives of World War II, the Marauder Bowie Knife pays homage to the blades carried by Merrill's Marauders—an elite unit known by the codename Galahad, which operated in the Southeast Asia theater.

Featuring a distinct Bowie profile blade with a precise flat grind, the knife offers exceptional cutting efficiency. Enhanced by a Stonewash finish, the blade is forged from premium Japanese AUS-8A stainless steel, valued for its strength and long-lasting edge retention. The ergonomically-shaped, black handle is constructed from Kray-Ex material, ensuring a secure, non-slip grip in any situation. The set is completed with a Secure-Ex system sheath, designed for easy attachment to a belt or compatible gear.

Forged from Japanese AUS-8A steel, the blade offers exceptional durability along with outstanding resistance to both corrosion and wear. Upon hardening, it attains a hardness rating of 58-60 HRC.

Boasting a wide Bowie profile blade, the Marauder is equipped with a blade measuring 229 mm in length and 4.7 mm in thickness. The design incorporates a sleek, curved cutting edge and a deep false edge, delivering superior resilience for effortless cutting and piercing. A flat grind enhances its performance, while the Stonewash finish provides a matte look and superior resistance to scratches.

Featuring a handle crafted from Kray-Ex material with aggressive texturing, this knife guarantees a secure grip even when hands are wet or dirty. The presence of a double-sided cross guard ensures fingers stay clear of the blade, while the sub-hilt offers additional security by protecting the index finger from accidental slips. At the handle’s end, a hole is incorporated for attaching a safety cord or lanyard.

The knife comes with a sheath in the Secure-Ex system, crafted from a lightweight, tough, and weatherproof material. Featuring a fitted inlet and a snap-fastened belt loop, the sheath keeps the knife secure and prevents accidental drops. The integrated belt loop allows for easy attachment to a belt, while multiple holes and eyelets make it possible to mount the sheath in various positions on belts or gear.
