A folding knife with a slender, elongated design, inspired by Malaysian Kris daggers, characterized by a serpentine, wavy blade. The 152 mm blade is made of AUS-10A stainless steel, which offers optimal durability, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. The blade has a satin finish. Blade inspired by Malaysian Kris daggers
The blade features a profile inspired by Malaysian Kris daggers, designed for maximum penetration effectiveness. The blade’s distinctive, wavy design and geometric curvature enhance cutting efficiency and provide precise impact during penetration. This profile is particularly effective in tactical applications, where a combination of high piercing ability and optimal blade control is required.
The model features a fully serrated cutting edge, which facilitates cutting fibrous and hard materials, such as ropes or belts. The blade is finished with a satin finish, which masks minor scratches.
Griv-Ex handle, tip-up clip
The handle scales were made of Griv-Ex glass-nylon composite, a glass-fiber-reinforced nylon in Flat Dark Earth. Comfortable everyday carry is ensured by a spring-loaded steel tip-up clip, which allows the knife to be easily attached to a belt or the edge of a pocket. The clip can be mounted on either the right or left side.
Spring Leaf Lock
The blade, when opened, is secured by the Spring Leaf Lock system, a refined upgrade of the traditional Liner Lock mechanism. Enhanced with an additional spring-loaded bar that reinforces the liner, the knife remains firmly locked and resists accidental closure even under intense impact. A thumb-operated stud situated on the blade allows for rapid, one-handed deployment. In addition, the serrated flipper facilitates swift blade access as soon as the knife is drawn from a pocket. Once deployed, the flippers transform into a compact double-sided cross guard, effectively shielding the hand from sliding onto the blade.

AUS-10
AUS-10 is a high-quality stainless steel produced by the Japanese company Aichi Steel, considered one of the best in the AUS steel series, used mainly in mid-range and high-end utility knives, produced mainly in Japan and Taiwan. The carbon content (0.95-1.1%) ensures high hardness, while chromium (13-14.5%) guarantees very good corrosion and abrasion resistance. The steel also contains manganese (up to 1%), silicon (up to 1%), phosphorus (up to 0.025%), and sulfur (up to 0.025%), which affect hardenability, impact strength, elasticity, and machinability, improving structural stability and maintaining mechanical properties. After hardening, the steel achieves a hardness of 58-61 HRC, offering an excellent balance between strength, edge retention, and ease of sharpening. It is comparable to 440C steel, differing in carbon content and the addition of vanadium, which improves structural homogeneity and increases abrasion resistance.
Spring Leaf Lock
Spring Leaf Lock is a folding knife lock by Cold Steel, combining a classic Liner Lock with an additional spring bar. When the blade is opened, the spring secures the liner, preventing accidental folding even during strong shocks. To close the knife, first move the safety guard aside and then release the lock. This mechanism increases safety and reliability during use.
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Griv-Ex is distinguished by its resistance to moisture, corrosion, mechanical damage, and extreme temperatures, and does not warp or crack under harsh conditions. I have been using it for several years, sometimes even as an EDC. Very nice knife. I specifically bought the larger version and I don't regret it. Good not only for collecting, but also for use. One of my favorite folders.

The knife is long but slender and fits in the pocket. I also have the Voyager XL, which is wider and takes up much more space in the pocket. In terms of workmanship, everything is very well-fitted—no play or sloppy finish, it centers and the grind is even. The materials are rather budget, but after watching several YouTube tests, you can see the construction is very durable. Having owned several knife brands, I believe Cold Steel is the most solid. The folder arrived factory sharp. I recommend it.

A lightweight and rather large folder that will appeal to all fans of the Cold Steel brand. The serrated kris penetrates deeply into the cut material, and despite its light construction, it is suitable for heavy work.

An interesting construction, although in comparison to other large Cold Steel folders (Voyager XL, Talwar XL, Hold Out 1, Frenzy) you can feel that there isn’t enough space in the pocket for it to sit deeply. In terms of size, it most closely resembles the Hold Out 1, but it is about twice as thick, which would explain why the HO1 sits comfortably in the pocket, while this one protrudes higher than the clip suggests. In my example, the blade was factory uncentered in the scales, requiring my own adjustments. The blade shape and the serrated edge somewhat increase the cutting abilities compared to the TiLite with a plain edge, but for technical/kitchen/garden-forest work, it’s still not well suited due to the blade thickness just behind the cutting edge. In summary, an exotic addition to the collection and an interesting option for self-defense if someone is looking for something both long and not too expensive, but for office workers/warehousemen/cooks/forest grandpas—there are other, better options in the Cold Steel catalog (e.g. Voyager XL, Rajah 2).

The blade is off-center. You have to adjust the screws yourself. Apart from that, no complaints. Good product, good quality, good materials. Rather for fun than for practical use.

I've had it for over a year, at first the size is impressive, but you can get used to the small machete :) Opening and folding were initially stiff, but now it's easy to operate with one hand. Factory sharp—any carelessness and your fingers get cut :). I've been 'dreaming' of a Ti-Lite for years, and the promotion for the AUS8 version finally made it affordable. You feel awesome carrying such a sword in your pocket. I wear it every day; so far only used for simple purposes (mushroom picking and in the kitchen—it cuts amazingly).

For me, this is a knife for the collection, because for everyday carry it is a bit too big—and why scare people? For daily use, the Spartan is more than enough, and if even that's not discrete enough, I use the CRKT Otanashi Nō Ken.

An excellent knife. You just need to be aware that it's not an ideal choice for, for example, preparing meals, although it works for that too. However, as a collector's knife, it's perfect. Excellent steel, solid handle, and a simple, reliable mechanism. The only downside is that it could open a bit easier—you need to adjust, lubricate, and practice.

Beautiful large folder, which nevertheless fits discreetly in the pocket. Solidly made and one of the best steels. The lock is so strong it can hurt your thumb when closing. Came razor sharp. With practice, it opens 'by itself.' Overall 4+. I recommend it.

Ti Lite, continuously produced since 2001. Now available in a new version inspired by Kris daggers. The polished 15 cm blade makes an amazing impression, and the serrated version works well not only as a dagger. The craftsmanship is simply excellent, with no shortcomings. I recommend it.
