CRKT Orca Folding Knife - Black

A compact folding knife crafted for everyday carry (EDC), showcasing a streamlined profile and versatile functionality. Conceived by Jim Hammondin in partnership with CRKT, the design draws inspiration from the form of an ocean orca, blending distinctive aesthetics with real-world utility.

Outfitted with a Drop Point profile, the blade is crafted from tough D2 tool steel, renowned for its excellent wear resistance and ability to maintain a razor-sharp edge. The notched back of the blade ensures reliable thumb placement, enhancing knife control and providing a firm, confident grip during tasks. A Satin finish lends the blade a subdued matte look that skillfully conceals light scratches acquired from regular use.

Equipped with an Assisted Opening system powered by an internal spring, the blade deploys instantly with a single motion. Complementing this, the IKBS ball bearing system delivers exceptionally smooth and accurate blade deployment via the flipper, ensuring the knife operates effortlessly and feels natural in hand.

The Liner Lock system secures the blade in the open position, ensuring it cannot fold unintentionally during operation.

The handle features fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), providing both lightweight construction and exceptional durability. With well-designed contours and a non-slip surface, the knife offers a secure and comfortable grip, even during extended use. An integrated hole at the handle’s end enables attachment of a paracord or keyring, enhancing personalisation options and reducing the risk of loss. The discreet, low-profile pocket clip allows for convenient and concealed carry in a pocket or on a belt, ensuring quick and easy access to the knife.
