Great design. It's hard to believe that CRKT produced this knife because the product is definitely high-end.
CRKT Provoke showcases a groundbreaking design crafted by renowned American knife maker Joe Caswell. Drawing inspiration from traditional Asian karambits, the knife merges a futuristic aesthetic with state-of-the-art technology. CRKT Provoke Compact stands as the smallest model in this series.
The Hawkbill blade is constructed from D2 tool steel, known for its exceptional edge retention and wear resistance. The blade’s stonewash finish effectively conceals minor abrasions from everyday use.
Employing the innovative Kinematic technology, users can rapidly deploy the blade with their thumb. Applying pressure to the upper crossbar moves the blade forward while simultaneously engaging the lock. The knife can be safely folded by shifting the lock release lever.
The handle, made from 6061 aluminum, is precisely manufactured using advanced CNC machinery. Its ergonomic contours provide a reliable grip and enhanced safety during use. The rounded end of the handle extends further for increased blade control.
A slide clip designed with zero profile and tip-down orientation makes it easy to secure the knife to a belt or pocket edge.

Describing this CRKT gem as just an ordinary knife misses the point. It's like putting a black powder gun among airsoft carbines. This isn't a knife for slicing tomatoes or whittling sticks, it's a brilliantly designed self-defense tool. The mechanism works quickly and reliably, and the grip is very comfortable even for larger hands. It's expensive...* How much do you spend on smartphones for so-called 1zł, and then pay another 1500zł in installments? *If you like karambit-type knives, here you have the crème de la crème of karambits. ;)
