The CRKT Provoke is a groundbreaking creation by renowned American knife designer Joe Caswell. Drawing inspiration from traditional Asian karambit knives, its design merges a modern, futuristic aesthetic with state-of-the-art technologies.

The Hawkbill blade is crafted from D2 tool steel, ensuring exceptional cutting performance and outstanding wear resistance. A black titanium nitride (TiNi) coating enhances the blade, offering reliable corrosion protection. Thanks to Kinematic technology, the blade swiftly deploys using the thumb. Pushing the upper crossbar propels the blade outward and engages the locking mechanism. To close the blade, simply slide the lever to disengage the lock.

The handle is constructed from black anodized 6061 T6 aluminum and features an ergonomic contour for a secure, comfortable grip and long-lasting durability. The rounded pommel extends the grip, maximizing blade control during operation. For the First Response model, the handle is outfitted with a ceramic glass breaker, making the First Responder an outstanding choice for law enforcement professionals.

Everyday carry convenience is provided by a zero-profile tip-down steel clip, allowing secure attachment to a belt or pocket edge.

The package includes a holster with multi-position mounting options compatible with both belt and MOLLE systems.

CRKT (Columbia River Knife & Tool) is an American brand of knives and tools, founded in 1994 by Paul Gillespie and Rod Bremer, former employees of Kershaw Knives. It gained worldwide fame with its K.I.S.S. model, presented at the SHOT Show in 1997 - it sold out instantly and tripled the company's production capacity. CRKT has earned a reputation as a brand that focuses on innovation, as evidenced by its proprietary Deadbolt, Field Strip, and Kinematic systems, as well as its patented Veff-Serrations. The company is also known for its collaboration with renowned knifemakers such as Kit Carson, Ken Onion, and Liong Mah, resulting in knives with unique character and functionality. Among the most recognizable models are the M16, Minimalist, and Pilar, which have become icons in the world of EDC and tactical knives. Since its inception, CRKT has consistently promoted the motto “Confidence in Hand,” emphasizing that their knives are designed to provide the user not only with a tool, but above all with confidence in any situation.

Great design. It's hard to believe that CRKT produced this knife because the product is definitely high-end.

Describing this CRKT gem as just an ordinary knife misses the point. It's like putting a black powder gun among airsoft carbines. This isn't a knife for slicing tomatoes or whittling sticks, it's a brilliantly designed self-defense tool. The mechanism works quickly and reliably, and the grip is very comfortable even for larger hands. It's expensive...* How much do you spend on smartphones for so-called 1zł, and then pay another 1500zł in installments? *If you like karambit-type knives, here you have the crème de la crème of karambits. ;)
