Great design. It's hard to believe that CRKT produced this knife because the product is definitely high-end.
CRKT Provoke showcases a groundbreaking design by acclaimed American knifemaker Joe Caswell. The construction draws inspiration from traditional Asian karambit knives yet merges a forward-thinking aesthetic with the latest advanced technology.
Featuring a Hawkbill blade crafted from D2 tool steel, the knife excels in cutting power and wear resistance. A black titanium nitride (TiNi) finish protects the blade from corrosion. The edge is partially serrated, making it particularly effective for cutting ropes, cables, and various fibrous materials. The revolutionary Kinematic mechanism enables rapid blade deployment with the thumb. Pressing the upper crossbar propels the blade forward while securing it in place; to close, simply slide the lever to disengage the lock.
The handle is constructed from black anodized 6061 T6 aluminum, shaped ergonomically for a comfortable, secure grip and exceptional durability. A rounded pommel extends the grip, offering greater control during use.
Carrying convenience is delivered through a spring-loaded steel clip with a discreet tip-down configuration, allowing secure attachment to a belt or pocket edge.

Describing this CRKT gem as just an ordinary knife misses the point. It's like putting a black powder gun among airsoft carbines. This isn't a knife for slicing tomatoes or whittling sticks, it's a brilliantly designed self-defense tool. The mechanism works quickly and reliably, and the grip is very comfortable even for larger hands. It's expensive...* How much do you spend on smartphones for so-called 1zł, and then pay another 1500zł in installments? *If you like karambit-type knives, here you have the crème de la crème of karambits. ;)
