ESP EK-OB-01 Folding Knife - Orange
A rugged EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife featuring a Drop-Point profile blade crafted from Japanese AUS-8 steel. Outfitted with a reliable Liner-Lock mechanism, the knife includes handle scales made from tough PA66 polyamide and a steel deep-carry clip for secure tip-down carry. Designed to be lightweight and convenient, making it an ideal everyday companion.
AUS-8 steel, PVD coating, Liner Lock
Equipped with a Drop-Point profile, the blade is crafted from premium Japanese AUS-8 steel, known for its excellent corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. Featuring a high flat grind, the blade is finished with a robust PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating that enhances scratch resistance, minimizes friction, and offers added protection against corrosion. Jimping (notching) is added on the spine where the thumb rests, providing improved control during precise cuts. The blade operates on washers and deploys with a double-sided peg under the kicuk. A reliable Liner Lock mechanism secures the blade safely in the open position.
Scales made of durable polyamide, deep-carry clip
Handle scales are crafted from lightweight yet robust polyamide PA66, a material known for its resistance to weather, chemicals, and mechanical impacts. Ergonomically designed finger padding and non-slip texturing on the handle ensure a secure and firm hold. Everyday carry convenience is enhanced by a sturdy deep-carry clip, allowing for attachment behind a belt or onto a pocket edge, and enabling the knife to be carried in the tip-down (blade down) orientation. A hole for attaching a safety cable is located at the end of the handle.
