This is the first review of this knife, but also my first EDC knife. However, it was a well-thought-out purchase. I use my EDC in the urban jungle, so I cared about lightness, handiness, small size, and full functionality at the same time – the Boker Magnum Rockstub Blue Elox combines all of that and, most importantly, meets my expectations. Additionally, it is elegant and fits in the fifth pocket of jeans (yes, in the watch pocket). You can read about the manufacturer, blade sharpness, materials used, and color in the description. I would buy it again.
Engineered for everyday carry, this durable and rugged folding knife is meticulously constructed for reliability in daily use. The blade features a drop-point design and is crafted from 440B stainless steel, renowned for its long-lasting sharpness and straightforward maintenance. Resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress is enhanced, while a black protective coating adds an extra layer of protection against rust.
When opened, the blade is securely held in place by the robust Axis Lock, which is seamlessly integrated into the handle.
The ergonomically contoured handle is fitted with micarta scales, a tough and waterproof composite made from resin.
A flexible clip attached to the handle enables comfortable everyday carry, allowing secure attachment to a pocket edge or gear.
NOTE – Despite common misconceptions, spring knives are fully legal to purchase, possess, and carry. Polish regulations do not restrict the opening mechanism, blade shape, or length. However, laws in other countries may limit or forbid certain knives—be sure to review relevant regulations if traveling abroad.

Boker is a German knife manufacturer with a tradition dating back to the 17th century, known for its distinctive chestnut tree logo – “Tree Brand.” In 1830, the company was already producing up to 2000 sabers per week, which were sent to battlefields across Europe. In the 19th century, it expanded its operations to the US, Canada, and Mexico, establishing recognizable subsidiaries. Today, the main factory in Solingen specializes in handcrafted collector's and utility knives, including those made of steel recovered from historical objects such as the Tripitz battleship. The brand offers four lines: Boker Manufaktur Solingen, Boker Plus, Magnum, and Arbolito. Boker products are valued by collectors, uniformed services, and chefs around the world.
