Main compartment, multiple pockets, organizer

The main compartment, equipped with a two-way YKK zipper, secures personal belongings, essential medical gear, or a light jacket. Inside, a zippered mesh pocket and a Velcro-fastened organizer with elastic loops and three slim flat pockets help keep gear in order. Side wings are fitted with MOLLE/PALS webbing for modular attachment of extra equipment. A front zippered pocket offers additional storage, while the inner panel provides an extra document pocket. The Helikon-Tex Bandicoot supports the Versatile Insert System, enabling integration with a range of organizer inserts.

Velcro panel

A front-mounted Velcro panel enables the attachment of various patches or emblems, including national flags, unit badges, or morale patches, allowing for a customized appearance of the pack.

Adjustable carrying strap

The carrying system features a fully adjustable waist strap equipped with a robust Woojin buckle for secure fastening. The strap can be entirely detached if required, allowing the pack to be worn directly on a trouser belt.

    Before buying this waist bag, I would never have thought I would need something like this. Perfectly made, very well thought out. Tons of pockets, compartments, and loops for organizing your gear. Additionally, you can detach the strap and, for example, attach it to your own belt. Really a great option for EDC or a first aid kit.

    Great fanny pack, perfect for EDC. The Bandicoot is too big, it's more like a shoulder bag. This one is small but very roomy. Excellent quality. It's ideal because it's relatively small, so it doesn't get in the way, but inside I have all the essentials. Fantastic fanny pack, the size is perfect, great quality, I recommend it.

    I bought the waist bag as a second one. The first was a Pentagon Tactical Fanny in black, which was a bit too small. The Helsinki in coyote color is spacious, I like the strap which doesn’t dangle around even after adjusting. The downside is that you can't close the waist bag with one hand when the zipper is in the farthest position. In this respect, the Pentagon is better.

    Great as an everyday bag, in the picture it looks smaller than it really is. Typical solid Helikon-Tex quality. I'm convinced it will serve me for a long time and perform its task excellently. The zipper moves very smoothly, which is not always obvious with zippers. It's definitely worth buying.

The material seems thin, but for this price range, it's ripstop. A downside is the strap, which is quite tight, but still possible to fasten – for people with a wider waist, it may be uncomfortable. At the back, there are two open side pockets where you can hide flat items or tuck the strap away when it's not in use.

The material is quite thin, but for this price it is made with ripstop technology. The only downside is the strap, which is rather short, which may be a problem for people with a larger waist circumference. On the back of the bag, on both sides, there are open pockets where you can hide flat items or store the strap when it is not needed.

    I do not recommend it. The waist bag was used for a week and the zipper broke. The strap that comes with the waist bag is so short that you can't fasten it even on your thigh, and after buying a longer strap, there is no way to adjust it and it's too long. The quality of workmanship is terrible. 0/10, I do not recommend it.

    I bought myself a Helikon-Tex Possum bag in the color RAL 7013 and I am very satisfied with my choice. I can easily fit my glasses, wallet, phone, and keys inside, and there is still some space left for other necessary items.
