The Ka-Bar knife from the Becker Knives line is the outcome of a collaboration between Ka-Bar and knife expert Ethan Becker. Designed as a classic survival knife, it boasts a straightforward yet highly practical full-tang construction. Featuring a fixed blade, this tool is perfectly suited for a wide range of wilderness adventures, including survival scenarios and bushcraft expeditions.
Equipped with a 4.5 mm thick blade in a drop-point shape, the knife is crafted from 1095 Cro-Van tool steel and hardened to 56-58HRC. Both blade and tang are finished with a matte coyote-colored coating that offers superior resistance to corrosion.
Fitted with a handle modeled after the Short Becker Knives standard, the knife includes two contoured scales constructed from Ultramid®, secured with hex screws. The handle’s ergonomic design guarantees a firm and comfortable hold.
Extending from the end of the handle scales, the tang forms a dedicated glass breaker, useful for emergency situations or as a supplementary tool, and is also outfitted with a lanyard hole for cord attachment.
The package also contains a sheath made from Celcon® material, recognized for its exceptional durability against abrasion, extreme temperatures, and moisture. The knife is held in place within the sheath by a press fit, while a steel snap-closure strap provides additional retention. Users can also swap the sheath’s mounting side for belt attachment as needed.
