TDI Law Enforcement Knife in the black version with a serrated blade was engineered specifically for law enforcement professionals. The design, created by John Benner, founder of the Tactical Defense Institute and experienced SWAT team leader and coordinator of the U.S. Drug Task Force, was intended as a compact, efficient self-defense knife, ideal for situations demanding quick, decisive action.
Owing to its carefully considered build, the knife is lightweight, ergonomic, and exceptionally sharp. The uniquely contoured handle offers a firm grip and intuitive operation similar to the feel of a firearm. The robust full tang construction delivers outstanding durability and strength under pressure. The blade is crafted from high-quality AUS 8A steel, which provides reliable edge retention, while the applied black, anti-reflective coating minimizes visibility and shields the blade from corrosion.
The handle features rugged Zytel material and an anti-slip texture, ensuring a secure hold even in adverse situations. Included is a tactical sheath in black, equipped with a durable metal clip (1480CLIP) for versatile mounting inside or outside the belt. The mounting design keeps the knife stable yet allows quick access during emergencies.
The package also comes with an Allen key and two extra screws to make it easy to adjust the sheath for personalized carry preferences.
