Fixed blade knife from the TDI series, designed by John Benner, founder of the Tactical Defense Institute and SWAT unit commander. Engineered primarily as a self-defense weapon, the knife also excels in daily use due to its versatile drop-point profile.
The blade is crafted from AUS 8A steel tempered to 57-59 HRC, offering reliable corrosion resistance and impressive edge retention. Full-tang construction maximizes strength. A black anti-reflective coating provides additional surface protection.
Deeply contoured and ergonomic handle scales are made of rugged Zytel. A finger loop at the base of the handle enables rapid and secure deployment from the sheath.
A hard plastic sheath comes with a clip for belt attachment. The clip is reversible to accommodate user preference. Set includes extra screws and an Allen key.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Ka-Bar.
Ka-Bar is a brand whose history dates back to the late 19th century, and which gained real fame during World War II, when the Fighting Utility model was officially adopted by the US Marine Corps. The durable and versatile knife quickly became legendary, proving itself both in combat and in the daily tasks of soldiers. The name Ka-Bar itself comes from the 1920s, when a trapper described in a letter how he managed to “kill a bear” with a Union Cutlery knife. In 1952, wanting to emphasize the power of this symbol, the company officially changed its name to Ka-Bar Knives Inc., and its products are still considered a model of reliability today. An important chapter in the brand's history is also its collaboration with Ethan Becker, which resulted in the Becker series, highly valued by users, combining practical solutions with a modern approach to knife design.

Great little knife, handy, I recommend it, perfect as a spare. (Don’t confuse it with a Passat TDI).

I recommend it 100%. I have finally found my EDC knife. An excellent compromise between a folding knife and one with a fixed blade.
