The blade, featuring a modified drop-point shape, is crafted from Sandvik 14C28N steel. A thumb stud enables effortless one-handed deployment, while a dedicated flipper allows for rapid opening using the index finger.
Blade deployment benefits from Kershaw’s patented Speed-Safe spring assist system, delivering nearly automatic operation. To prevent unintentional blade release, the Leek model incorporates a slider safety positioned at the rear of the handle. When open, the blade secures firmly with a Frame-Lock. Handle scales are constructed from 410 steel.
