The multitool makes a very good impression right from the first contact. You can feel that high-quality materials were used in the production, which makes the tool stiff and extremely durable. The mechanisms work smoothly, and the locks hold firmly, which significantly affects the comfort and safety of work. The set of functions is well thought out and works in various situations, both for minor home repairs and in the field. The main blade is very sharp and holds its edge well. The whole thing is well balanced and, despite the considerable number of tools, the multitool does not take up too much space in your pocket or on your belt. It's a solid piece of equipment for someone looking for a reliable tool for years. I recommend it to everyone who values high-quality workmanship.
Leatherman ARC Talos Multitool
Leatherman ARC stands out as the first multitool on the market featuring a blade crafted from advanced CPM MagnaCut powder steel. Thanks to this innovation, the blade delivers exceptional edge retention, outstanding durability, and excellent resistance to corrosion. Sharpening MagnaCut steel is also noticeably simpler compared to other alloys offering similar hardness. A black PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating further enhances the blade's corrosion resistance.
The Talos version offers additional distinction with its handles finished in a brown Cerakote coating. Included with the product is a robust 25-year warranty.
Solid stainless steel framework, FREE technology
Constructed from premium 420 stainless steel, the framework and tools are professionally heat-treated, delivering optimal hardness tailored for each component's intended use. The arms of the multitool feature a robust brown Cerakote coating that boasts high scratch resistance, superior corrosion protection, and minimized reflectivity.
Equipped with FREE technology, the Arc model utilizes magnetic inserts within the arms that reliably secure the tool when folded. Precisely calibrated magnet strength and an exact fit between components enable smooth, one-handed deployment of the multitool.
main blade made of CPM MagnaCut steel
Exceptional attention is warranted by the blade, crafted from highly wear-resistant CPM MagnaCut stainless steel—an option rarely seen in standard multitools. Thanks to the use of such premium-grade steel and the convenience of one-handed deployment, the Leatherman Arc sets itself apart as a serious contender to classic folding knives. The steel offers the advantage of high resistance to wear and corrosion while preserving ideal toughness. The blade is treated for enhanced durability, hardened to 60-63 HRC and finished with a black PVD coating. For effortless opening, a thumb stud has been integrated into the blade.
Easy opening, Tools equipped with a lock
Accessing additional tools in the ARC model is exceptionally straightforward—just press the edge with your thumb to slide them out from between the arms, then choose and deploy the desired tool.
An internal locking system secures all tools folded within the arms, delivering a combination of smooth deployment and reliable locking.

You can't go wrong with a Leatherman. Very good built and very useful. The pouch is great. The interchangeable tools that come with it was a pleasant surprise. I had considered buying it in the US than in PL, because of the high price, but here in PL you get those extras which are not included if you buy it in the US, for example. I realized that Arc and other Leatherman are discounted once a year. Wait for the right moment to buy it!

I believe this is the best multitool, not only from Leatherman but on the market in general. It features an excellent mechanism that works perfectly and allows you to operate all the tools with one hand – unfolding and folding the multitool, using the pliers, knife, handle, or other functions. Truly an outstanding multitool. In my opinion, it is unrivaled.
-
Great multitool from Leatherman. I am impressed by the build quality and the way the tool opens. This is my flagship, second only to the Wave+ Polish Army. I gave up the bit set and the holster in the silver version, but I think the Talos color makes up for the lack of accessories :) I recommend it!!

Very good pliers and practical. The way you access the tools and the pliers themselves is a huge plus worthy of the price, just like the finish and material quality. I also own a Surge and it's a big difference in weight and usability.
-
Top-class multitool, the photos do not reflect how solidly it is made. The package was surprisingly heavy, and the tool itself felt very high-quality when taken out of the box. The price is high, but the steel the knife is made from and the pleasure of using it to some extent compensate for it. I recommend it, it's clear that it's a purchase for years to come.

However, it does not meet expectations and the price level. A bit of introduction. I own the old Surge model (12 years), Skeletool (~5 years), P2 and Arc (a few months). -> Only the P2 was not bought at Militaria. Thesis: The ARC price should be around 700 PLN. I believe the Surge is the best multitool from this brand. All pros and cons compared to the Surge. What's good: The blade material - this MagnaCut. Really durable, sharp and holds its edge; good grind for a short blade. It's great that almost all the tools can be opened and closed with one hand. It has flat surfaces which can be used as a hammer. It's quite uncomfortable to open those small tools, the leverage for them is a bit small. Unlocking the 4 main tools with gloves on... well, you need some experience - the unlocking levers are a bit small. Unfortunately, there is also a bit of play. If the Surge was made with better materials to maintain its strength but reduce weight and had a flat surface to use as a hammer, it would be a class better than the ARC. Would I buy it again? No. The main disadvantage is the inflated price in relation to its functionality and capabilities.
-
A very well-made model, compact, and the new magnet system works well. I'm not sure if the price is appropriate—it seems a little exaggerated, as the mechanism itself and the blade steel are a bit too little. I'm waiting for the All-Black version and the possibility of easily replacing worn-out tools.

Great, well thought out tool. I've had several Leatherman multitools before and I'm always impressed by the build quality. Personally, as I mentioned above, I would consider the main advantages to be the build quality, access to all tools while the device is closed, the usefulness of the available tools, and the ease of use thanks to the FREE technology. I'll also add that the included case fits this multitool very well in terms of size. As for a minor downside, because the tools are accessible from the outside, the ergonomics are a bit worse. Squeezing the multitool firmly while, for example, tightening/loosening is less comfortable for the hand than with other Leatherman multitools. It's a pity there are no spring-loaded pliers, though you can live without it. :) For many people the price will be a drawback, as it really is very high. In reviews the opinion often appears that when it comes to quality it's Leatherman, Victorinox and then a long, long gap. For me, the Arq perfectly fits this view and I don't regret the money I spent on it.

It is very functional and useful. It works perfectly both for everyday wear and for various outdoor activities. It contains many practical tools and possibilities for use. It has already come in handy many times. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
