All components, with the exception of the caliper remover crafted from bronze, are constructed from stainless steel and finished with black oxide coating, offering corrosion resistance and reduced glare. Designed for tactical efficiency, the multitool enables easy one-handed use, letting the operator keep one hand available for multitasking.
Compatibility with gun cleaning rods
Engineered for compatibility with most standard cutouts found on M16/AR-15 series weapons, the multitool allows you to efficiently manage weapon maintenance tasks. Unscrewing the pin punch, which secures the weapon frame, enables you to attach a cleaning rod or brushes in its stead for improved grip and maneuverability. The threaded hole for attaching the cleaning rod or brushes is positioned approximately at the center of the multitool’s folded handle, providing a practical handle for the cleaning rod.
Interchangeable bits, sight and front sight adjustment tool
The MUT comes equipped with a socket designed for interchangeable bits. A dedicated slot in the handle ensures quick access to a variety of bits, allowing you to keep essential tools within reach. The provided bits are tailored for tasks commonly associated with servicing M16/AR-15 family rifles. Additional features include tools compatible with ST300 sights and adjustments for the front sight. A 3/8 inch wrench further enhances the tool’s capability for select repairs and maintenance tasks.

One of my favorite Leatherman multitools. I have both the black and regular versions. It’s a quite useful tool for someone who shoots AR-15 rifles a lot. For EDC I have the Charge, and the MUT is always in my gear.

A very nice multitool with a specialized purpose. The black oxide coating stains hands a lot, so it's worth washing it with soap and drying it thoroughly. The holster/pouch is green, but it's regular green and not olive green; nevertheless, it looks quite good on the gear. The bit extender also serves as a tool for adjusting the front sight on AR-type rifles. I recommend this multitool!

This is the first time I've bought a product from this brand, convinced that it would last a long time and be maintenance-free. And I was disappointed. After using the flat end just for the second time to unscrew a screw, the part chipped. According to the manufacturer, replaceable elements are not covered by the warranty. I will not buy this lousy thing again.
