It is quite expensive, but it is still the original and quality endorsed by an American giant in the field of portable tools. For more demanding users, there is an even more expensive version with a ratchet.

Leatherman MUT EOD (833119) Multitool
When facing intense, high-pressure situations, worrying about whether you have the right tool on hand should never be among your concerns.
Equipped with everything from a sapper's primer cutter, a robust blade, and a fuse cutter, to a bronze gun cleaning tool for removing carbon buildup, a breech jam removal tool designed for the M16/AR15 carbine, and a replaceable C4 punch, the Leatherman MUT EOD delivers an accessible layout built for specialized tasks. Complete your objectives, maintain your field gear, and lighten your load. Backed by a 25-year warranty.
Tactical functions: weapon adjustment and maintenance
The MUT EOD is engineered to be compatible with most standard cleaning rods used for the M16/AR-15 series of firearms. By unscrewing the C4 punch, a cleaning rod or brush can be securely attached, providing improved control during maintenance. An additional threaded hole, situated approximately in the middle of the multitool's handle when folded, allows users to create a substantial and ergonomic handle for the cleaning rod. The C4 punch can alternatively be replaced with a carbine mounting pin remover for the M16/AR-15 series.
Distinguished by its professional-grade primer cutter, the MUT EOD features replaceable blades on the sapper fuse cutter, crafted from hardened 154CM stainless steel. The MUT EOD incorporates an interchangeable bit socket, enabling the use of multiple “bits” and greatly expanding the tool’s versatility. Included bits are selected specifically for the maintenance needs of M16/AR-15 series firearms. A notable advantage of the MUT EOD is the quick replacement of high-wear components. Utilizing a #8 torx wrench, users can efficiently replace worn-out parts right in the field, ensuring operational readiness at all times.

This accessory is not among the cheapest, but it is still very practical, mainly because it allows you to use inexpensive, standard bits available in discount stores and DIY markets.

Already on first use, the bit became completely stuck in the extension socket and cannot be removed. As it turns out, this is a widespread problem described on the internet, and additionally, Leatherman excludes this accessory from their official warranty, which is a huge disappointment.
-
It costs a bit, but it’s the original, and it’s worth having with a full set of bits. Manufactured in Taiwan and Vietnam, which is a plus for those who pay attention to such details.
-
A very solid and functional multitool. The tools work reliably, the whole thing is durable and fits well in the hand. It works great when working with equipment, and the MOLLE sheath is a big plus.
-
The price is high, but it works great. It might be worth adding the ratchet version, but this one is also okay. Definitely a necessary purchase if you plan to screw in more than just a few screws.
-
High quality, excellently designed multitool, just like all Leatherman brand products. Additionally, the original, elegant color scheme stands out. You can feel the high-quality workmanship and solid materials in your hands. Another plus is the 25-year warranty.

A definite must-have for a Leatherman multitool. It makes work much easier. Plus, no-name bits fit. I highly recommend it, although the price is not small for such a little thing.
-
One of my favorite Leatherman multitools. I have both the black and regular versions. It’s a quite useful tool for someone who shoots AR-15 rifles a lot. For EDC I have the Charge, and the MUT is always in my gear.
-
It's worth having as part of a multitool set. So far I haven't needed it, but it even fits Bosch ends, so I highly recommend it. Ideal as a gift.
-
A high-class multitool from Leatherman, offered in a set with a black holster and an extension. A very solid pliers designed for everyday AR15 weapon maintenance. Its military construction and 15 different functions result in a slightly heavier device. Some accessories can be replaced, which significantly extends the tool's lifespan. Definitely an essential piece of equipment in its category!
-
The tool complements the multitool well. The quality is great. You can tell you're dealing with a premium product. Unfortunately, this goes hand in hand with a high price. Even so, I'm very satisfied with the purchase.
-
As always, perfectly crafted equipment. It helps in everyday work and beyond; it's useful for mushroom picking, fishing, and home chores. I recommend it to people who value material durability and long-term use. The quality speaks for itself.

The perfect addition to a multitool. Tested with the Leatherman Signal, it works great. Very strong magnet, to the point that the bit had to be pulled out with a tool. Small enough to fit in the holster along with the multitool.
-
A good addition to my Surge and also to the Skeletool. It also fits the Tread Tempo bracelet. It has come in handy more than once. Highly recommended. The quality in relation to the price is very satisfactory.
