Breathable TrekDry form-fitting material, touchscreen support
The upper section of the gloves features a breathable, lightweight Form-fitting TrekDry fabric that helps minimize hand sweat. For long-lasting performance, the grip area is crafted from synthetic leather, delivering a secure hold and enhanced tactile feedback while enabling seamless operation of touchscreen devices without the need to remove the gloves. Both the thumb and index finger are fortified with an extra layer of material for added durability.
Strong, adjustable clasp made of TPR
Securing the cuff is achieved with a TPR strap (Thermoplastic Rubber, compliant with EN 13594), and is fastened using Velcro.
Protection standard EN388-2121X
The gloves are compliant with the EN388-2121X standard for mechanical hazard protection, which signifies:
- 2: abrasion resistance (rated from 0 to 4)
- 1: cut resistance (rated from 0 to 5)
- 2: tear resistance (rated from 0 to 4)
- 1: puncture resistance (rated from 0 to 4)
- X: TDM cut resistance (ISO 13997) (rated from A to F)
According to the EN388 scale, protection levels are defined as follows: a value of 0 represents no protection, whereas maximum ratings (4 or 5) correspond to the highest resistance.
For TDM (ISO 13997) testing, letter codes are used, where A signifies minimal protection and F denotes the highest.

The gloves are extremely comfortable and work well for many tasks – you can carry heavy stones, bricks, unload packages, as well as do gardening, fix cars, or use various tools. At first, size L seemed a bit stiff and tight, but after a few days, the leather adapted to my hands. They provide great protection, sensitivity is standard, only with very small nuts it's hard to tighten them without the risk of them slipping out of your hand. The biggest drawback is the factory glue – after just five days of work, the black patch between the thumb and index finger started to come off because there are no stitches on the edges there. I bought the gloves new and haven't had a chance to wash them yet. I had to glue everything myself so the patch wouldn't come off completely (the photo shows it already after my repair). When buying, I recommend looking at the product photos and choosing a model in which the black patch on the bend is securely stitched instead of just glued. This way, you can avoid these problems. At this price, such a gluing flaw is very unpleasant, and the quality control leaves much to be desired.

The Mechanix Wear Original model in wz.93 Panther camouflage offers a very good fit to the hand and a high level of sensitivity, allowing for precise operation of equipment.
