Mechanix Original Tactical Gloves - Olive Drab

Universal heavy-duty gloves designed to offer essential mechanical protection. With an optimal fit, they ensure complete grip control while allowing for precise movements. Ideal for law enforcement officers, military users, shooting sports enthusiasts, as well as for survival adventures, automotive work, DIY projects, or ASG activities.

 

Breathable TrekDry form-fitting material, touchscreen support

The glove’s upper section features a breathable, lightweight Form-fitting TrekDry fabric that minimizes hand sweat. Durable synthetic leather is used for the gripping area, delivering reliable grip and heightened tactile control, while enabling the operation of touchscreen devices without the need to remove the gloves. Both the thumb and index finger are reinforced with an additional layer of material.

Strong, adjustable clasp made of TPR

Secured at the cuff with a TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber meeting EN 13594 standards) strap, fastened by Velcro.

Protection standard EN388-2121X

The gloves conform to the EN388-2121X safety standard for mechanical hazard resistance, ensuring the following specifications:

  • 2: abrasion resistance level (rated 0–4)
  • 1: cut resistance level (rated 0–5)
  • 2: tear resistance level (rated 0–4)
  • 1: puncture resistance level (rated 0–4)
  • X: TDM cut resistance (ISO 13997) (rated A–F)

According to the EN388 standard, the rating scales determine the degree of glove protection: a value of 0 signifies no protective properties, whereas the highest ratings (4 or 5) reflect the greatest resistance.

In assessments based on the TDM technique (ISO 13997), letter grades are used, where A marks the minimum level of protection and F represents the maximum.

X designation means that the parameter either was not evaluated or does not apply.

    I don't know why they add the name Woodland to our wz93, but it doesn't diminish the gloves, which are really comfortable and well-made. They do have drawbacks, namely, they absorb water.

    I bought these gloves mainly for use at the shooting range and for outdoor work. From the first time I put them on, they fit very well on my hand, do not restrict movement, and provide a secure grip. Big plus for the quality and the wz.93 Pantera camouflage, which looks great. After a few weeks of use, they are still comfortable and hold up well to daily use.

    These gloves are really very comfortable and fit the hands perfectly. Nothing pinches or chafes. The additional Velcro on the wrist improves the security of keeping the glove on the hand, and that's what convinced me not to buy the basic Mechanix ones anymore.

    Very good gloves, the quality is immediately visible at first glance. They cost a lot, but it's not wasted money. They fit well on the hands, don't squeeze, and your hand doesn't sweat excessively. They are lightweight and have convenient loops for attaching to a backpack. I recommend them.
