The jacket works very well in worse weather conditions. It protects well against wind and rain, and the lining provides extra warmth on colder days. The material looks solid and the whole thing seems to be well made. The cut is comfortable and does not restrict movement, even with more layers underneath. Big plus for practical pockets and the ability to adjust the jacket to your needs. If someone is looking for a universal jacket for outdoor activities and everyday use, it is really worth it.

Waterproof ECWCS second-generation jacket in woodland camouflage, constructed from a triple-layer laminate that offers reliable defense against wind and water. The fabric remains breathable, helping to minimize the risk of overheating during high-intensity activities.
The outer shell consists of 96% polyester blended with 3% elastane, while the interior features a breathable polyurethane membrane. A detachable, insulated fleece liner is provided inside the jacket, making it suitable for wear not only in autumn and spring but also in winter. A snow skirt is included to prevent snow from entering under the jacket, underlining the winter-ready functionality of the Wet Weather Jacket model.
The design includes seven pockets:
- two spacious hip pockets featuring waterproof zippers,
- two sleeve pockets closed with velcro and waterproof zippers,
- a large rear pocket in the lining secured with velcro,
- two zippered side pockets in the liner.
A two-way YKK® zipper fastens the jacket, reinforced with a double storm flap. Underarm ventilation zippers enhance breathability and allow for efficient air circulation.
A high collar combined with a hood delivers effective protection for the head and neck against wind and cold. Velcro-adjustable cuffs offer a customizable fit to any wrist thickness. All external seams of the jacket are fully taped.

Jacket purchased on 1.12.2024, well and solidly made, nice external pocket zippers, waterproof. The fleece is warm, and the sleeves are slightly shorter than the jacket, but that's a plus—they don't get soaked in the rain. In a model from another company, that was a problem. I've worn it for two winters, and it’s not bad. :-) As for downsides, after removing the fleece, there's no hook to hang the jacket, which is only present on the fleece. Overall, I recommend it.
