The jacket works very well in worse weather conditions. It protects well against wind and rain, and the lining provides extra warmth on colder days. The material looks solid and the whole thing seems to be well made. The cut is comfortable and does not restrict movement, even with more layers underneath. Big plus for practical pockets and the ability to adjust the jacket to your needs. If someone is looking for a universal jacket for outdoor activities and everyday use, it is really worth it.

Second-generation ECWCS-type waterproof jacket crafted with a three-layer laminate for superior defense against wind and water. The material is also vapor-permeable, minimizing the chance of overheating during demanding activities.
The exterior shell comprises 96% polyester with an added 4% elastane for flexibility. On the interior, a breathable polyurethane membrane enhances comfort. A removable insulated fleece liner sits beneath, allowing the jacket’s use not only in autumn and spring but also throughout winter. The Wet Weather version includes a snow skirt designed to block snow from entering beneath the jacket.
This jacket offers seven functional pockets:
- two spacious hip pockets with waterproof zippers
- two sleeve pockets featuring Velcro and waterproof zippers
- one large rear pocket with Velcro closure in the lining
- two zippered side pockets in the liner
Equipped with a two-way YKK zipper, the jacket is further secured with a double storm flap. Ventilation openings under the arms, closed with zippers, promote optimal air circulation.
A high collar and adjustable hood deliver reliable protection for the head and neck against wind and low temperatures. Cuffs are Velcro-fastened, allowing adjustment to fit wrist thickness and preferred comfort. All seams on the outer shell feature taped sealing.

Jacket purchased on 1.12.2024, well and solidly made, nice external pocket zippers, waterproof. The fleece is warm, and the sleeves are slightly shorter than the jacket, but that's a plus—they don't get soaked in the rain. In a model from another company, that was a problem. I've worn it for two winters, and it’s not bad. :-) As for downsides, after removing the fleece, there's no hook to hang the jacket, which is only present on the fleece. Overall, I recommend it.
